Post by: Aivres on August 04, 2008, 06:22:43 am
Guys!
www.erepublik.com is a great game and I'm totally hooked! how come there so few people are playing it?
PM me your email and I will send you an invitation right away!

Erepublik is a massively multiple player online, social networking and strategy webbrowser game. The game allows players to participate as individual citizens in an online mirror of the real world. Currently on private invite only.
Don't judge a book by its covers. Join and see for yourselves.

So is this a legit post or what because it REALLY lacks information.

I suggest you add more to it before something bad happens!

The game is like Civilization with Google Maps basically.

He gave us the wrong URL. For a guy who registered exclusively to advertise that game/site, that was a pretty funny mistake.

I definitely would like to group with you dudes, especially since I accidentally signed up for my real location (I wanted to choose somewhere cool but when it asked I thought it was asking for my actual location for profile reasons and fucked it up, now I gotta save for a moving ticket) and it is terrible.

Basically I think it is like if Nationstates lived up to everyone's hopes and dreams but you're not automatically a person of power, you have to work your way up to it.  I registered for it months ago and finally got the invite a few days ago.  It is cool shit.

Sent it to the address in your profile.  Hopefully there's no long waiting period for people who get invites (I don't think there is).

Also for everyone else, my name on there is Gnoll.

Well you can find me in Sweden in game. Aivres is my name
I suggest everyone come to Sweden at first until they earn some money, the other economies aren't doing so well right now... Huge housing shortage in the US is giving beginners a hard time.

I looked at this game for about 10 minutes and it's just another one of those typical 'CLICK [X] [Y] AND [Z] ONCE PER DAY TO INCREASE YOUR STATS WITH DRAMATICALLY DECREASING GAINS OKAY GRIND GO' with the illusion of grandeur for 1 or 2 players that have no life and spend all their time making fake news articles

Yeah, I played this a while ago and it was really terrible.  You log in each day and press two buttons.  That's it!  Even if it takes 1 minute, it's still a waste of time.
