10 (weird, there was 10...) 3 articles on google news:

This is pretty exciting.

I honestly don't know what else to say other then "Woohoo! increased likelihood of cheap/free energy in the future!"

Although in another article it said it could take up to 10 years to have it replace fossil fuels.

This is pretty awesome. I mean, this would mean energy would effectively be free, assuming everyone had one of these devices. Which means the energy/coal/oil companies would pay a lot of money to keep it quiet when it's finally ready. Which means we'll never see it.

Damn.

Well, it's about fucking time. I just hope this sees the light of day, but it will probably just get pushed back repeatedly like other things that would save the consumers lots of cash... Like HYDROGEN CARS.

My god, usually I just look at these things and forget about it, but when it comes from MIT, that's a little bit harder to look away from. This is fantastic news!

Need a jpeg of Olympic-sized swimming pool for reference

Edit: You'd think scientists were a bunch of jocks they always give numbers in terms of Olympic swimmingpools and football fields

no they just need to break things up into chunks that are easier for the lowest common denominator to swallow
