Yeah, so, since I have my new PC, I want to get new games for it.
Here's the deal, however: I have montly bandwidth limits, which, after being passed, net me extra money to pay per extra gb downloaded. However, this extra money caps at an ammount I will easily be able to pay. It resets on Friday, so I want to download as many games as possible before then.
This is where you come in. Right now I am getting Quake 4. Certain games I will copy off of my friends, but others I will download.
Name me any game you can think that is higher-enough-end to not be played on a pretty old. Any kind, anything. Any game that crosses your thought, mainstream or not, fps, rpg, rts, racing, sim, whatever you can think of.
Anything 2005 and beyond that is generally hard/impossible graphically on older pcs and/or really pretty/demanding at top settings.
I need to find shit to download, nigs!

xcom ufo defense
jagged alliance 2
system shock 2
these three games are about 150+ hours of gameplay if you beat all three and all very good

i don't know if you guys are joking or what but he's looking for games that kick a pc's ass.
in which case, neverwinter nights 2 because the engine is horrible and requires a monster rig to run despite the witcher using the same engine and running much smoother.
also download crysis and fear.
also get s.t.a.l.k.e.r. shadows of chernobyl as well as all the hi-res/bloom packs available and individual grass shadow mods and shit (i think it's called oblivion lost and clear sky mod or something)
oblivion

why did you use the word nigs?

holy moley. i read this topic and i somehow confused him looking for high end games with low end games. reading it now i have no idea how i thought this given how he repeats it. completely disregard my post, i am a dumb id;olt.

Crysis
Bioshock
Oblivion
Battlefield 2142
Battlefield 2 (these are multiplayer heavy games I recommend buying them instead... if you only buy one, get BF2)
Test Drive Unlimited
Flight Simulator X
Grid
Dirt
The Orange Box
Company of Heroes
Civilization IV
Sim City 4
Just trying to come up with ideas here.

if he has a bandwidth cap I doubt he wants multiplayer based games
-
Playing games uses almost no bandwidth
also I asked for anything Alec so anything is fine
But yeah these are some nice choices however Sim City 4 and Warcraft 3 I could already play the hell out on my old PC so
I also got GRID free with my pc ;d

oh okay I wasn't sure some games do and I thought the battlefield games were pretty hogging so nevermind.
Anyway I'm not sure but Penumbra: Black Plague is really nice and uh...

Okay well. If you are looking to push your computer, Crysis is currently the graphics juggernaut. By far this game has the best graphics in any game currently.
Good to hear you got Grid for free with your PC - it's an excellent racing game.
-
I hear Assassin's Creed PC has higher requirements, actually. If you really want to push your PC, that's the way to go.

maybe, but you can't push it nearly as high
i was really sad when I found i maxed out the graphic settings of the game and was still getting really good frame rates
however, I never got Crysis to run at native resolution to my screen (could only get up to 1280 x 800)

Call of Juarez

Some RPG Maker game that uses like 3000 events per map and doesn't do the Wait 0.0 trick when doing parallel processes

Yeah, I run AC on all max, max res, with kinda good framerates. Only kinda good because when there's 600000 people at once it slows down. Still very playable though.
Also I can run Crysis on 1440x900 (i think that's what it's called at least(since i have a new monitor now ;d)) with all high (not very high. didn't try) with very playable framerates. ;d

This is still a good list of games,
You should play these anyway. Nothing has come out that can trump them.

I have no idea how graphics intensive Call Of Duty 4 is but I can run it at everything maxed out just fine with the new graphics card I just bought.
