Title: Mass Effect Blue Screen
Post by: Farren on September 06, 2008, 01:15:06 am
So I've installed this game twice and each time I try to play it I get a blue screen and my comp restarts.

I looked it up on google and there were a few people complaining about it, one way to fix it was to change the screen resolution and I did that. Still get the blue screen.

I'm pretty sure it isn't because my laptop is incompetent, I can play Crysis, HL2, and Oblivion just fine so what the hell is up.

thanks

So I read at support that I need to update my drivers but I don't think I can, I've got ATI Radeon Mobility X1700 and it isn't listed on the ATI site...

Make sure you have the latest motherboard, sound, and direct x version, too.
