man, to this day, if i hear robert stacks voice i have to look behind me and make sure all the windows are closed.Lol. Seriously. Then the string progression they play in the backgrounds of their stories doesn't help either.
even in video games it creeps me, something could come out of no where and swallow me alive or bite me and half, or just plain drag me down a thousand feet to the bottom of the ocean.man that would be so sweet if in something random like gta if you get too far out in the ocean on your boat or while swimming you end up getting attacked by a kraken and dragged down until you run out of air.
seafood. any deep sea critter creeps me out, they're all creepy
Creeps me out just seeing middle-aged men in the mall sitting by themselves and watching young girls walk by and smirking. I've seen this a lot and I can usually pinpoint a few key features that give them away, too.
I don't believe you one bit. It sounds like you mentioned that only because Bob mentioned water/sea.
'Jesus, that picture of the little girl IS creepy.People driving by when I'm walking alone at night outside in the streets... if you get my drift. Seriously, unidentifiable car drivers are scary as hell. Please stop doing that.
But besides that, people I see walking alone in the dark freak me out. Or, walking alone at night outside on the streets, when I'm driving by.
"...WHAT IS HE DOING OUT HERE???"
I thought I posted last night? Oh well.
Corners are what scare me. I am very afraid of corners and doors open behind me. Any noise from around a corner or behind me will make me jump and look and try to ascertain(??) what it was. Now, take light out of the picture, and I will not even BLINK without somebody else near me.
water i can't see the bottom of, i'm like a fucking dog. even in video games it creeps me, something could come out of no where and swallow me alive or bite me and half, or just plain drag me down a thousand feet to the bottom of the ocean.
haha, sorry but thats kinda funny. So afraid of deep water that you can't play video games with deep water?
I am phobic of vomit. Since I live in a college town, I have to deal with it all the time. It's so ridiculous how much puke is always on the sidewalk or on my car or something and seeing vomit makes me shiver.yeah if I see or hear someone vomiting I usually at least gag a little bit
I don't believe you one bit. It sounds like you mentioned that only because Bob mentioned water/sea.
I'm afraid of whales though.

the sound of a drum symbol IN REVERSE, that shit is pretty creepy
Paper towels
I just can't stand how they feel D:
they're all dry and icy O_o
other than that I can't think of anything
As for heights, it seems they only effect me when I'm out in the open. I tend to get dizzy and start to worry about falling off of whatever I'm on. If I'm on an airplane though I have no fear of them, and actually enjoy looking out the window. That strikes me as totally fucking weird. The plane thing is the same for me, but even if I'm on a rollercoaster or inside somewhere and looking down, I get really afraid. It's only on planes that I don't, and am instead very interested in looking out.
oh man i just remembered another one
this goddamn sound did, and still does, creep the SHIT out of me...i guess because it sounds like it's going to keep getting higher and higher until you die from it
actually i don't know why, but yeah it's awful
I'm not good with things around my neck. Shirts and collars are OK, of course, but TIGHT stuff is awful. I can't wear ties or anything, and I hate it when people's hands are wrapped around my throat. After a short time I usually start gagging, regardless of pressure.
feels like a midget is hanging from my necklace.
Velfarre we seriously have the same exact thoughts it's just that you put them into words first
also Sim Ant scared the hell out of me, with the fucking spider that takes up half the screen and then if you die you hear little cute ant noises as it's chomped to death :( and like, the sound of antennae snapping. That eel from SM64 was pretty creepy too
I don't like the general things...Same here. If people aren't SPECIFIC, I start to FREAK OUT. I MUST HAVE THE DETAILS.
I thought I was the only one!
Oh and a weird one: you know those cotton ball things? They're fine to see, but I CANNOT stand the texture. It makes me shudder.
But besides that, people I see walking alone in the dark freak me out. Or, walking alone at night outside on the streets, when I'm driving by.
"...WHAT IS HE DOING OUT HERE???"
oh man i just remembered another onehaha I definitely didn't see that coming

I thought I was the only one!I'm not alone...
I wouldn't touch fuzzy blankets either till like a year after my baby sister was born, I hate cotton balls and shit thinking on them gives me shivers!
you guys are all some pussies or exaggerating what SCARED feels like.you realise it's not a topic about phobias or scary shit, but just things that creep you out. and hell, I'm certainly not afraid of cotton, sheesh. but the texture of cotton balls genuinely IS awful to me. I think that qualifies as "creeping me out."
seriously I thought I had problems with my needle phobia (now reduced to much less thanks to weekly chemo) but this shit is beyond ridiculous.
COTTON NO!
A JELLY FISH ARGH!
CYCLOPS KITTY CUTE :3
how does that shit creep you out its fucking cotton balls. youve got a retard brain!hey it's not the balls themselves, it's just that texture. like when you rub the ball between your fingers--that feeling is awful (sounds like im talking about wanking here..).
imagine chewing on cotton balls
imagine it adeline
just imagine it

how does that shit creep you out its fucking cotton balls. youve got a retard brain!no its not a joke but it's not because of CUMRAG either i'm just creeped out by socks for an entirely different reason
also panda is socks a joke or are you afraid that one day youll be rubbing your socks on your face and your bro will look at you with an all too familiar look of horror...
Juris, are you talking about the Harlequin fetus birth defect? It is a very unfortunate defect and I really feel sorry for the parents and the kid (who, as I understand it, dies pretty soon after) but I seriously would not want to be stuck in a room with one of those suckers. It's something straight out of a horror movie.

That is seriously the coolest thing ever, Lars.
If anyone is afraid of centipedes, slugs, catterpillars or worms, don't watch this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVb9yUOek88). Seriously, if there's any creeper to be creeped out by, it's the velvet worm.
Omcifer shadows of the empire is so bad.
YOu must have moderate to severe brain damage, thats all I'm saying
Did you have a phobia before your treatment? You seem like the type of person who really wouldn't be phased by that sort of thing.
No, I think that's you. That game was the shit, had everything. You get to fight in spaceships, fight basically every hostile creature in the Star Wars universe, for chrissakes, you even take on a gang on one of those hovering bikes.
a well designed and crafted videogame
I used to not like insects and like most people I dont go FUCK YES SNAKES LETS TOUCH THEM but those are normal things, whats this TOO MUCH WATER NO!!! and SILK shit, is this what videogames do to people?
I cannot imagine ever being scared by a level in a videogame that isn't some weird silent hill bullshit.
Just like I can't imagine being afraid of needles. People are different dude.

like I guess my definition of creeped out is a much more severe one than MILD DISCOMFORT because I don't dig silk either but I'm not CREEPED OUT and thinking about cotton balls in my mouth just reminds me of when I had my wisdom teeth pulled.yeah dude i think most people are looking at different definitions of creeped out here. some are going for fear, but shit like the texture of cotton balls is unpleasant for me. and i see "creeped out" as being a good enough description of how i feel about that thing.
I know there's nothing at the bottom of an Ontario lake. Yet, when I was a kid, one of my scout leaders caught one of those long baracoda fish or whatever it was called (long, thin, nasty ass crocodile-like mouth) and yeah. Since then I always get this chill or sinking feeling. You never know what your feet brush against, and it creeps me out. Then of course, the ocean we don't KNOW what's there. We assume we know, because we're scientific. And yes, I understand it's a purely irrational fear. I'm fine when with someone, or out past the beach or whatever. But I'd hate to be stranded in the middle of the ocean. That fucking Mountain Dew comercial annoyed me too. There was some dude canoeing across some water, and he cracks open a mountain dew---and this big freakin' whale/seacreature crashed out of the water and gulps the motherfucker down like a pill.
-shudder-
except that makes you the exception. like i said there are normal things people are afraid of or creeped out by and btw one of these is needles since you know it's normal to not like pain and then there is a profound fear of chewing cottonballs.in relation to the video game thing i wouldn't say i get scared or even very creeped out, mainly just tense, or cautious idk. "fuck some things gonna pop out of the fucking depths of the ocean and kill me". but in a real life setting its definitely scary for me, partly because i didn't learn to swim until my late teens, and even now i'm not a very good swimmer, so it only adds to my uneasiness.
also bro maybe you missed the part where needles are a constant reminder of the malignant cancer i've got????idk maybe that doesn't scale to cotton balls and socks...
like I guess my definition of creeped out is a much more severe one than MILD DISCOMFORT because I don't dig silk either but I'm not CREEPED OUT and thinking about cotton balls in my mouth just reminds me of when I had my wisdom teeth pulled.
basically do you guys really see VIDEOGAME LEVELS and have to suppress a shudder? that's just crazy to me! I'm not trying to say IM HARDCORE SCARED OF NOTHIN because I am, but VIDCONS, really?
^ play Super Metroid
Sure it's 2D, and the whole 3 to 4 feet vision cutoff is due to the limited screen size. But it nailed the whole dark and dirty, and genuinely creepy aspect perfectly.
EDIT: The boss there actually gave me nightmares
Heres something that gives me the chills, a Cat's scream of absolute pain at the top of their lungs. It's a little blood chilling if it happens out of the blue right near you.
thanks for bumping a year old topic to tell us you hate the gays :DI don't really hate them, but I don't associate with them at all. It's just mostly the transexuals that freak me out more than homosexuals.
thanks for bumping a year old topic to tell us you hate the gays :DThanks for making an equally shitty post. Don't be a dick.
