Title: multiplayer online racing game? (Mariokart style)

I was wondering if anybody knew a multiplayer online racing game, with the style of mariokart (or any of the 234728 clones it has) I know there are plenty of them to play offline, but I would love to play 1 online with multiplayer support.
Does anybody know of any?

trackmania is a pretty awesome series, not really cartoony but definitely WACKY TRACKS

There was some Korean game that was pretty much this.  I can't remember it anymore, but it was on some free MMO site if that helps (probably doesn't).


I also found a fishing MMO that I wanted to play just because that is a weird idea.

I think that Korean game was called Drift Online/Drift City or something.

I saw the korean game, it was great, sadly it was a open beta and it has ended, now you can't play it anymore...
and OMG I remember wacky wheels, I used to play it a lot! I feel like I got 15 years in the past...
I'll try trackmania and Skunny carts

I think the korean game your thinking of is Kart Rider. While I myself never played it, I think I heard that they supposedly have the english/international version on hold for "tweaks" or something.

Yeah, basically just go with trackmania except you can't interact with the other racers in any way, shape or form.

"Racing Star: Come on baby" is free and supposed to be somewhat like mario kart from what I've read, if you don't feel turned off by its graphics

I had Skunny Cart as a kid. It wasn't that super though, imo.

Neither was Wacky Races. :(

Kart Rider is your best bet though I wouldn't trust Nexon to be finished with their "beta testing updates" anytime soon because Nexon is known for being a bunch lazy bastards. A mariokart 64 tourney does sound like fun though. Anyone up for it?
