This is sort of old news, but a promising MMO nevertheless. From the makers of Guild Wars, City of Heros / Villians, Lineage, and Tabula Rasa, PlayNC gives you: Aion.
Aion™ is a visually stunning massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), where you ascend to divinity and fight in a celestial war. Wield divine powers to bring deliverance to your people and restore balance to a world shattered by cataclysm. Prepare yourself for power and privilege in an epic online adventure you'll take with thousands of other players and spread your wings to claim your rightful place among the immortal legions of Atreia!
In my own opinion, I thought that Guildwars was a really good game, graphically. This seems to be a game with guild wars graphics, but Free zone like WoW. Another good aspect is that it has 3 factions; A stretch that few MMO's take (most that do end up sucking), but it sounds promising and the idea is great; A great way to get one of the biggest MMO's on the market out of the way: World of Warcraft.
Oh yeah, did I mention you can fly when you are in combat! Here is a quote directly from the main websites' FAQ:
How does flight fit into the Aion universe?
Flying is an extension to the overall combat system of Aion. Not only is it an integral part of the gaming experience, it will require both strategy and skill to use optimally.
See more on flying here (http://www.aiononline.com/us/game_guide/what_is_aion/aerial_combat.html).
Other than it being in its beta stage at the moment, that about sums it up. If you would like to see more check out the main website here (http://www.aiononline.com).

This game will suck.
1) Korean MMORPG. They are worse than Runescape.
2) Three factions may sounds like a good idea but it just divides players even more. Games with two factions already struggle with balance. Three factions will cause shit.
3) After AoC and WAR failed to even scratch WoW, Aion won't even be able to look at WoW's direction.
4) Graphics? Age of Conan.

This pretty much.
Also NCSoft was not the makers of Guild Wars or City of Heroes/Villains, they only published those games, they have very little to do with the development process.
Also you should add a little bit more substance to the topic (and your others) besides a short blurb and a link to their site! If you could do that it'd be much appreciated because a lot of people aren't going to bother to check out their site. Tell us more about the game in the opening post (and I know there's more, I've been semi-watching this game.)!

I don't know why everyone thinks it is not worth developing an MMO just because WOW exists. I mean like . . . a game doesn't have to be #1 in order to be worth playing. Maybe MMOs are a little different I don't know.
Also this doesn't look very good :(

Its something different though, and usually games in beta don't look that promising. Even some of the more popular games like Warcraft and Guild Wars did not.

Well every part of a game is important, from the development, to the way its layed out in stores; Speculation though, its always up to the consumers no?
I was just really psyched about this because they have flying combat. Flyff had something like that, but that game was kind of bad. I just thought some might like the concept if not the game, there are much more games out there I just thought because of the companies behind it and the hype it was worth a mention. :)

NCsoft doesn't make most of what they publish as they are just that... publishers.

Yeah really, I mean book publishers don't write parts of the books they publish.
Also I don't know if calling FlyFF "kind of bad" covers it.

I think you totally missed what I said in the post above that one.
