Title: does anyone remember?

Someone posted a link one time to a Japanese photographer's site and it was all picture of closed down amusement parks and factories and just weird derelict sites and I was wondering if anyone still had the link because I can't find it.

yeah these places are really incredible. I remember hearing a reason why japan has so many modern ruins all over but now I forget. then again I don't know how many of these albums are actually in japan, I know at least 1 was shot in china.

that is ACTUALLY Silent Hill. immense fog from SH2 combined with the rollercoaster from SH3 = Amazing.

i remember i got heavy into urban exploring once, it's really weird when you read about these old british towns and people just going UNDER THEM and finding a network of ghost houses the homeless live in.

does anyone have a link I posted once, it was a new japanese sewer system and the topic was IS THIS FROM HALF LIFE 3 OR IS THIS REAL and no one quite knew?

That site is really awesome! I remember seeing the amusement park pictures before, but the rest of the areas explored on the site are new to me. Thanks for the find!

I want to explore abandoned buildings but I'm too afraid. I'd probably get arrested or mugged or I'd breath in asbestos or fall through the floor and die. also got no one to go along

yah it's pretty much best to go with a friend/friends.  it's also creepy as fuck, and the last time we did it we almost got arrested but we ran fast as hell!!!

i like the colors and textures that neglect creates. when i have kids i'm going to leave them to their own devices and see if that turns out similarly well

hahah that happened to me. some friends and i went to go explore an abandonned psych. it's so creepy. a lot of people got fined for doing it. while we were there we saw someone with a flashlight and assumed it was a security guard. we foudn a back door that was like.. 6 feet from the ground that lead to a back field. we ran through the most lumpy, muddy, painfully sharp weedy field to our car. i fell so many times into the mud. we were all SO dirty from it!!
