Title: Warning Man-O-War is a Fraud 2.0
Post by: pburn on January 01, 2009, 12:35:39 am
I won the AMV Forever contest, so guess what, I won a copy of Space Jam: The Novelization!
http://www.amazon.com/Space-Jam-Novelization-Francine-Hughes/dp/0590945556/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1230769856&sr=8-1

After 2 months or so, I did not receive it so I made this topic:

Thanks to pressure from fellow GWers Man-O-War was eventually forced to purchase and ship the book today. I'm proud to say, I received it today.

If you noticed, there's a link on the Space Jam: A Novelization page to the hardcover version.  I assumed that it meant the hardcover version of the paperback book!  I guess I was wrong.  I also wasn't aware that the book was in such terrible condition.
I am sorry for all the pain I have caused.
I'll have the correct prize sent to you right away.

I did some search on the name written on the book and found this.

http://www.pepperdine.edu/voice/issues/fall2001/articles/notes_seaver.htm

Paula Minotta-Kelso and her husband, Frank Kelso (B '79, SEAV), are proud to announce the birth of healthy triplets: Francesca Gabriella, Christopher Andrew, and Nicholas Anthony, born December 31, 2000. They are joined at home by brother Joshua and sister Brittany. Frank and Paula are self-employed in their Internet business Quixtar. Their e-mail address is [email protected], and they would love to hear from old classmates and anyone who is interested in their Internet business. The family resides in Moorpark, California.

What should I do now??????

That's probably not even a signature, just the kid writing his name in so he knows it's his book.

I mean, what were the intentions of the man that tore them off? Did he intentionally want to damage the book for reasons unknown? Was he so attached to this artifact that he needed to keep parts of it behind with him? WHAET.

maybe psyburn you should go to that guy's house and root throgh their garbage to find the missing pages. You aren't a very good creepy-e-stalker if you don't root through trash once and a while.

I've had textbooks where pages have come out from turning them just slightly too hard and them coming loose from the middle of the book, but not only are textbook pages really really thin and easy to rip, but fuck they tore cleanly out not HERE'S A BIG CHUNK OF PAGE, what kind of page flipping was this person doing???

Sorry, AMV's don't warrant a full book. read line 3.

3A.Shit may not be sent on time. Winning in of itself is not a prize. AMV's do not warrant a full book. Prizes may be stolen.

Give them a ring and offer that kid a lesson or two on respecting shit that has his own name on it.

Missing pages is inexcusable.
