Alright, i finally established my connection with my xbox and my windows media center. There is a problem though: None of my songs are appearing. None of my disturbed, metallica, iron maiden, ect. songs are appearing on my xbox and only the 3 default windows media player songs appear on it. Is it my connection(i do have it in my basement with a wireless adapter, it is the only room with a wide screen tv)?? Am I doing somthing wrong? I made a playlist and put all the songs in them on my computer but none of them appear on the xbox. Please, help would be appreciated.

Maybe the songs have to be in \\Username\My Documents\My Music\ ?
-
That could be it...I also noticed that the sample songs are in WMA format instead of MP3, could that be the culprit too?
-
I'm not so sure about that. I was able to play mp3s on a 360 using media player.

yeah just try sharing more/all your folders just to be sure it picks up your beats.
-
ahahahahahahahaha
-
i would consider this a stroke of luck on your part

Dude if the music are in .wma it is supposed to work regardless of anything...I mean it is in windows format for christ sakes...anyways I use to synchronize to my vista computer when I had it and I had the music in my music folder but i also had music in my rpg maker folder (the games folder) and all the music there appeared so I don't know what you did wrong there.

recommending you just use http://tversity.com/ (http://tversity.com/). i couldnt get sharing working at all but tversity works out of the box.

You don't need Windows Media Center to share media. In Windows Media Player 11, right-click the 'Now Playing' button in the toolbar and pick 'More options' in the context menu. Next, pick the 'Library' tab and click 'Configure sharing'. Enable sharing, select your XBox 360 in the media box when it appears and allow it to access your shared media. Click 'Ok' to close down and click 'Choose folders' to add whatever additional folders you want to share aside from the standard My Pictures, My Music and My Videos ones.
Close down and access your PC media via the 'My Videos' section on your XBox.
