I swear I've posted this exact thread 50 times at various sites and still have not gotten any solutions.
Whenever I enter the Medical Pavilion, the game crashes when it says "Saving." on the loading screen.
I have disabled absolutely everything in the menu, high-detail shaders, high-detail whatever, EVERYTHING. Nothing works, the game still crashes.
I've reinstalled the game twice. Still doesn't work.
I restarted the game and played up to the same point again. Guess what happened? It crashed.
Nothing works. I want to play this game already!
Someone please help me!
Oh. System specs:
Intel Core 2 2.4 GHz
2.5 GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 7950 GT 512 MB
Windows XP SP3

May be a weird question, but do you have a tablet installed?
I and a lot of other people had to disable our tablet drivers to get Bioshock past it's loading screens back when it first came out. True story.
-
Nope. Just a regular keyboard and mouse.
-
I think I heard about this bug before, what version of bioshock do you have. Is autosave able to be disabled perhaps?
-
Version 1.1, the latest version. Autosave cannot be disabled AFAIK
-
Check all the .ini files, theres a decent chance the setting is just something you have to edit manually.
-
I think this may be an issue with a game engine, to a point people have been releasing savegames shortly past this point to get around the problem area.
-
Huh. I can't find anything about that anywhere else...
-
Put "bioshock pavillion crash" into google.

I know others experience the crash, but that says nothing about how to fix it. Well, it does, but I tried those and it doesn't work. Where does it say you need a later save to bypass it?
