Haha wow, you have to WAGGLE THE WIIMOTE TO ATTACK. Who thought this was a good idea. YES LETS MAKE YOU FIGHT 1000s OF IDENTICAL ENEMIES AND HAVE TO SHAKE YOUR CONTROLLER TO KILL EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. As the reviewers points out you literally have to WHACK OFF to beat the game, yes delicious irony ,mmmmmmmmmm.

What a terrible terrible idea, this is dumber than that sexy little red riding hood thing for the DS or whatever.

I have to admit it was pretty funny when he was complimenting their "detailed animation" as an upside while the girl is twitching like mad. This game has NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING going for it. And it's for the Wii.

Looks like a load of shit, but is the Wii really that shitty? I mean at first I thought it was for a handheld or something. Sure looked liked it could've been on the ps2.

It's gotta be something of a budget title, or else just banking the entirety of its success on the principle of zombies+anime+boobs.

The 360 version looks the same as the wii, meaning it is worse on that platform. Its a shitty game either way though.

All they need to do is make a Fleshlight attachment

It's not on the 360.
Edit: unless wikipedia is lying to me. I guess it did nevermind.

I pirated this game as per recommendation from a friend. The review is very honest! The graphics are decently good for the Wii, though. The girls look pretty much like they're rendered on a 360. Combos are fun for a while, but the whole game gets old really fast. Also it's obviously lacking any taste... I didn't even really need to say that as this game stinks of cheese.

Aya goes over to her and holds her in her arms screaming why and Saki until Saki smiles and dies. We then see Aya and Katsuji over a burial site in the field where a makeshift tombstone out of Aya and Saki's swords were a crucifix. Aya stands up to leave but then turns back and takes both of the swords and smiles to Katsuji. They walk off into the distance, Fade to black. Then an epiloge saying Tokyo, Japan 20XX. We see Aya with two swords jump into the air with her being shadowed by the moon. She dives down and we see zombies reflected in her eyes. She smiles and slashes the screen where the logo appears on screen.

The ability to turn a simple concept like "Girl in Bikini fights Zombies" into this is nothing short of amazing!

I really think this would have been a better game if the zombies were in bikinis.

From what I've played on the Wii from about 2 months ago:

This game is similar to Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, and any other generic beat em ups/hack and slash.

Four(?) selectable characters, two to choose from in the beginning. Each character has 2 modes of attack.

The gameplay is surprisingly fun but does get repetitive, it will give your arms a work out depending on how you play (large motions and small motions are registered the same to a certain degree) and you'll probably want to stand up more to play this game than sitting down. Some attacks require different motions of the wii-mote/nunchuck but it's more rhythm based for the combos (There's even training mode so you can practice combos). You'll probably be spamming motions the most unless you like to switch it up; for instance with Saki's alternate attack mode she can grapple enemies and do various throws/finishers depending on the motion. As combos get larger you're rewarded better for defeating foes.

There is a stats system but it's sort of unbalanced, for example when ever I invested exp into strength it took very long to notice a very slight change in this actual strength as opposed to investing exp into Vitality (maybe because enemies usually go down pretty quick).

There's co-op multiplayer but you can only play multiplayer in levels you've already beat, you can only advanced the story in single player. There's also survival mode, and time attack which both I think you can do multiplayer. Actually not so sure about time attack mode but it does record your time and clear stats.

As far as graphics go... it's a wii game. There are about... 20? different enemies in the whole game. So expect to see a lot of the same monsters and recolors.

There are unlockables you get for doing certain things (kill x number of baddies; beat this stage in x amount of time, etc. etc.) in free play mostly. I think most are costumes though.

I played mainly as Saki because it's fun ripping off limbs and beating up zombies bare-fisted. Some of the executions are brutal.

Side note: I played the Japanese version, the english version came out just recently.

All in all; if you have a wii, it's worth it to pirate this game and give it a good play through. It's one of the better Wii games out there. As far as renting vs. buy, rent it.

As a casual gamer I'd probably give it like a 7/10.

As a sucker for things very anime-ish I'd give it an 8/10.

I didn't really rate it based on the story because the game was in Japanese; but in this kind of game, story isn't that big of a deal. It's definitely targeted at anime fans.

I just realized the OP is a video-review (duhr).

Stop that.

There already is a Samurai nun. And she is awesome.

I feel I can safely say that the only things this game has going for it are:

•"Hawt Anime Gurls!"
•Hours of zombie-slaying

Either one would make a game that is enjoyable in its own right... but this game just sort of throws me in the "I'm not too sure what my main focus should be" mindset. I'd recommend games like Dead Rising for your zombie slaying cravings, and something along the lines of DOA Beach Volleyball for... well... the other focus, but considering I haven't heard many positives on this game I wouldn't recommend this beyond perhaps a few days rental at a local blockbuster or even just hanging out with a friend that bought/rented it out of curiosity.

Judging from the title, I imagine the whole thing is supposed to be a joke.

Yeah, this is either a disgrace or one of the best pieces of ironic entertainment conceived to date.

I'm banking heavily on the former.

the developer released this and a few other trashy simple games on the 360 last year or something. I recall one of them being very similar to this but with guns shooting millions of aliens in a city in this kinda generic style.
From what I recall they were meant to be cheap disposable crap, the kind of gaming equivalent of a grindhouse/hammer flick.

Yeah.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_series

developers are able to experiment to some extent with titles such as The Daibijin, which has attracted attention largely due to its central premise of a giant bikini-clad woman attacking a city, rather than any gameplay or graphical merits.

they're the jap equivalent of those bland moh clones and shit you find at budget retailers for £5 a pop with broad titles like "pacific war" or civ clones called "world empire" and that kinda crap
