Quote from: Wikipedia
Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure is a Nintendo DS action-adventure and puzzle game developed by EA Tiburon. It involves a British adventurer, the eponymous Henry Hatsworth, who is on a mission to find the "Golden Suit", garb that allows the wearer to control the "Puzzle Realm". The player must solve puzzles on the touch screen to destroy fallen enemies on the top screen.

While the game is an action-platformer on the top screen, once enemies are defeated by Hatsworth, they are sent to the bottom screen as puzzle blocks. The puzzle game on the bottom screen plays much like Nintendo's Tetris Attack, as blocks need to be linked in a chain of three or more of the same color to be cleared, and any blocks resting on top of the cleared ones will fall into their place, potentially leading to a chain reaction of blocks being cleared if they fall into place and end up touching more of the same colors.

As the blocks on the puzzle screen rise, the blocks that touch the upper edge of the screen are revived as enemies. The player can prevent this by swapping blocks to form groups of three or more, causing them to be destroyed, and their energy to add to the "Super Meter". Certain blocks may also power up Hatsworth's attacks, or restore his health, while others may hinder the player. If the Super Meter is filled, Hatsworth becomes younger, and his health increases. If it is then filled to double its capacity, the player can activate a mode called "Tea Time", causing Hatsworth to pilot a mecha and become invincible until the Super Meter depletes. Using the money earned by defeating enemies or collecting treasure, the player can return to Hatsworth's assistant's shop periodically to buy various upgrades.

Probably the best thing to come out of EA in its lifetime. It's fun, challenging, and has a very good sense of humor. The worst part of the game so far is the massive spike in difficulty World 3 and onwards. It's not undoable; you just have to be smart about taking advantage of puzzle mode powerups and health refills and such.

Apparently it's made by some of the same guys that created World of Goo, which explains how awesome it is.

I keep hearing a lot of good word of mouth on this game and after beating GTA, I'm only doing oddjobs now but I'm up for another DS game before plunking down for Echoes of Time.  I might make this one it.  Been looking at this as well as Broken Sword out of interest.

I've been playing Broken Sword as well, it's just as good as I remember - which isn't such a good thing if you've played it before. There is a little extra content, though. If you haven't played Broken Sword it's def the version to play.

Henry Hatsworth is freaking fun, but I just keep quitting because I die and have to start a huge part over again.
This one time, I ALMOST beat the first boss.
Then I died.

Funny, I thought the first world was quite easy, including the boss.

Make sure you switch between platform and puzzle mode whenever you get in a tight spot.

I got to world 2 a while ago, but the problem is that I never pay much attention to my health. Plus, I'm saving money for important upgrades.

BTW, you can't believe the amount of times I ALMOST got the super meter filled and then I turn into Old Henry -_-

This game, the title and the little blocky guys in the bottom screen look like something Frankie and Lazrael would do.

Awesome.

That actually looks pretty cool. Didn't think I'd ever be interested in an EA game again.

I tried looking for a rom of the broken sword to no avail (hint hint), not entirely convinced by this but it looks like a good time consumer. I don't think I have been properly entertained on the DS in that large void of time since they released Metroid Prime Hunters and Mariokart. Ace Attorney was a laugh I guess. I completed Advance wars DS and took it back and got fuck all for it.

I don't want to turn off signatures but at the same time I don't want to see Yahtzee thrusting £60 worth of plastic guitar at me in every VG thread. What to do :(

I finally got hold of it. Played it for 3 and a half hours today just monging out in my bed after uni (its the last day of term and I have no money to get wasted). Can totally recommend Broken Sword. It's so very entertaining : )
