Post by: the_bub_from_the_pit on April 17, 2009, 03:57:13 am: there's a friend (neighbour) in my living room right now w/ his laptop because the cops are in the area and he's wanted for assault.

doing it for weed :welp:

is there any chance i could get in trouble for this if i claim he comes in to study here all the time or is this a terrible terrible idea and im a huge dummy?

If they bust you guys just tell them you didn't know he was in trouble and make sure your bud corroborates with that. so you don't get flak for helping out.

but yeah I'd delete my posts as soon as I got in trouble just incase (if that happens)

If your friend is in some serious trouble, they will start visiting any nearby family or close friends in their search. Sounds more like a campus matter than legal trouble though.

Post by: the_bub_from_the_pit on April 17, 2009, 06:09:57 pm: lol so basically the police caught another one of our friends yesterday and was trying to get him to make 'convicted' friend to come down to "smoke and chill" and lure him but he didn't buy it (they're not allowed to search our apts).

they eventually let this friend go (they initially though he was the one who did it), and since they don't have much evidence other than friend's roomate snitching (dick move) and the fact that his exams are over and he's leaving today they pretty much can't get him at all since we're all moving out of residence this year.

the whole incident was p. dumb anyway w00t
