Title: my computer is fuck't

So I got two problems:

I can't play dvd movies through my disk drive for some reason (dunno?) but I can play games just fine.

And when I play a game called lineage 2 my comp shuts down. I think its because its overheating but I don't know why that is happening my fan is clean and nothings covering the vent up. That never happened before either.


so how do I fix?

yeah dude a little bit but its hard to really get into it anymore

I play private servers though there is no way I'd pay for that shit.

So DVD games work fine? What software do you use to play the DVDs? Have you tried more than one?

I usually use VLC but nothing works the problem is my computer won't even read the dvd

what version of windows are you using? check out your bios, make sure you don't have your computer set to turn off when idle and your dvd drive supports analogue mode, do the same thing within windows.

it probably won't help this is a long shot.

By "the dvd" do you mean one disc, or all of them?

every single dvd I've tried to use there is nothing wrong with them they work in dvd players

What happens when you put in a DVD that doesn't work?
Do you have any disk emulation software installed/running?
