So, we've been doing this for nearly 5 years now. I realize that GW is all but dead, but I would definitely be interested in keeping this tradition alive. If you are interested in a GW fantasy football league, please post here saying so. For those unaware, it is a friendly competition of FF with members of GW. We play through yahoo, and in the past it has been pretty competitive all things considered.

So, Battalion: Arena is the latest game from Urbansquall (which is the company I work for). I don't usually post up the games we make, but I figured this one warranted posting.

Battalion: Arena is a multiplayer flash game that borrows elements from the Advance Wars series. Regardless of that fact, I find it to be pretty original and quite a bit different of an experience. A few features worth mentioning are the customizable avatars, ranked matchmaking, co-op maps, and the map editor. Some features require a premium or elite membership (which costs $$), but the game is fully playable for those who choose to play it freely. In fact, some of the most avid and skilled players get by fine without membership.

Not much else to say really, if you are a fan of turn-based strategy games try this one out. Although there have been some server issues lately, and there are other less important issues that exist, we are constantly working on and improving the game.

It's almost that time again. Last year we survived without anybody trying to rig the season and it was pretty fun. For some reason it's hard to get enough serious contenders but maybe this year will be different.

I am currently a two-time champion for this here event...can you dethrone me? Probably not. Haha.

Anyways, this is just a post to see who's down this year. If anybody wants to run the league this year let me know. I'll probably be very busy so I don't want to run it unless I have to.
