Dream about making a game in Game Maker, but looks like it won't happen.
I did this thing twice. I consider them both successes but neither were received. Marketing remains my biggest folly. I am working on a third but neither drunkenness nor soberness inspires much in the way of motivation for me, outside a base motivation I have managed to cultivate for stringing videos together.

I tried the "living in my car" thing for 6 weeks before a broken laptop forced me to move back to the "dead end job" thing again but with a considerable amount put into living in a motel this time 'round. I am currently torn between scratching up enough savings to be able to bring my cat into the suite with me or scratching up a considerable amount more to be able to move back to an apartment where savings will be more plentiful and I will be closer to friends and relatives. On top of that I am growing increasingly weary of the routine of jobedness and so exert more of my willpower each day just for stability.

What's this now twitlonger for nobody's listening? Had a bottle of wine, doing the job search thing again. Broke, in debt, a lot of life has happened since last I was here. I've accomplished a lot of noise I'm happy with. Playing games, arting, and existing. Just checking in.

Since I can't have steam games separated into 2 drives and
You actually can do this http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=664376&highlight=ntfs+junction

Alternatively, you move games rather than uninstall them and move them back when you want to play them again.

Yeah magnetic hard drives are really pretty cheap (though they're still inflated a bit from the tsunamis) and I don't know where you're getting that SSDs live longer. Magnetic drives only die from wear and tear. Properly cared for and they can easily live well past the point where they're capacity is obsolete (I still have a 10gb hdd from the late 90s that works). SSDs are limited to a certain number of read/write cycles, and while it's not prohibitively low, especially with improvements to the technology, I would guess that the average life span of an SSD under normal operating conditions is roughly the same as a magnetic one in a desktop environment (~5-8 yrs).

but they do say something different, they use a different target to get the negative connotation. fuss and bellyache are essentially calling an adult childish/immature/underdeveloped. bitch on the other hand is completely adult, and is essentially calling a man or a woman "a woman" or "a bad, nagging woman"
Honestly my use of the word over fuss or bellyache is the hard consonants and general terseness of the word. I've been thinking of proper alternatives though and I think "cry" is a pretty decent one.

I'm still here (because I'm some sort of masochist or something), and I apologize for overreacting. I could try to defend myself further, but I know it won't help anything. If I keep coming back, I'll try to avoid using language that offends you on this forum.

Yeah, please don't use that word, people don't like it when you do. It's just a basic request to respect other people's wishes, I don't see why your response is to say "go fuck yourself".

It's the kind of reactionary bullshit extremism I have no time for. If you want to change things, changing the way people use the words, not changing the words they use is what you should focus on (btw most of the people my age learn these "hateful" words with outside of a hateful context).

I really resent being called hateful towards women, too. All my life I've preferred the company of women. My most meaningful and stimulating conversations have been with women, and no woman I know in real life - even the most ardent feminists I know - would pull this kind of reactionary bullshit to language without hateful intent.

But whatever; I'm deleting saltw from my bookmarks. I tend to come here when I'm not particularly emotionally stable, and I don't need people picking words out of my posts instead of responding to what I'm actually saying

Peace, assholes.

P.S. I really got my feelings hurt by this whole exchange, btw. I mean I legitimately got pushed to tears through this (like I said, I'm here because this I'm in a particularly dark place). It's bullying, and it's not okay.

No I think picking apart language out of context and forgetting that language evolves and changes as time goes on is oversimplifying language. Go fuck yourself both of you I'm not going to argue about this.

EDIT: I won't be reading or responding to any more responses about the language I choose to use.
