i honestly dont CARE who wins the legendary and cliche forum argument of "are you an attention whore if you tell people your life" but i do care about reading AWESOME STORIES

as for my dark teenage years they were just kinda stupid. i grew up in a small redneck town and was generally a lonely closet nerd. after i was exposed for being a nerd, my average teenage 'my life sucks' story would start somewhere around here. after a year and a half or so of being a fag, i manned up and lived a normal life of being a teenage slacker. i had a typical teenage job and that normal "life is boring" attitude. i wasn't really going anywhere in life since i skipped school waaay too much. then a year or so later i came down with this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colitis%2C_ulcerative

after i had some surgeries, i got my life back together and quit slacking. now im attending college this fall and im kinda enjoying life for the most part. i look back on my teenage days and laugh at how depressed i was at the time, because it was really just immaturity. i never had to deal with rape, or getting picked on.

but really, everybody has their dark little emo stories. sure this isnt livejournal, its a public messageboard. but instead of mocking the people actually posting in the topic, why dont you just lock it if its ever so much against your opinion? personally, i rather would enjoy reading a bunch of nerd emo stories. no, im not giving them attention. everybody has ups and downs in their life, and if you have a totally awesome teenage life, once youre 40 years old with two annoying kids and a bitchy wife im sure you won't enjoy your life too much anymore. then again, everybody is different. im not going to say "wow your life sux lmao" to anybody in this topic, but you could certainly entertain me with stories about having sexual thoughts about your own father and getting your ass kicked for it when you were 13.
