My rare gemz:
Castlevania: SOTN (ebay), Suikoden I (ebay), Suikoden 2, Earthbound (incl. box and guide), Disgaea 1 (lucky find), and Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (lucky find)

You know, those are all on my favourite games of all time list other than Suikoden 1 (no offense)

I've been hitting up the pawn shop for SNES games lately, including Secret of Evermore. I think I saw Inindo there, maybe I'll pick it up.

I thought you abandoned this project, and I was sad about that. This is an awesome surprise! I'll play it when I get home.

lol.

Awright people, here we go. The children's  cartoons I like to this day.....

-----

The Fairly Odd Parents - Timmy is a very lovable main character imo. And the nature of the characters/world gives them limitless potential for storylines.

The Weekenders - The plot is basically the same every single episode but I enjoy the quirky characters and humor that hasn't been dumbed down for kids. It's a very funny show and I get this nice fuzzy feeling from watching it (...)

Stickin' Around - Minus the plot point, I like this show for the same reasons as the above. Except I started watching Stickin' Around probably 10 years prior so nostalgia+++

Spongebob Squarepants - Lovable protagonist, funny, low on moral-throat-shoving.

Dexter's Lab - Lovable protagonist, funny, low on moral-throat-shoving.

Samurai Jack - omg this show was AMAZING. I miss it a lot.

X-Men - Animation was guud.... I liked the long story arcs.

Avatar: The Last Air Bender: A lovable protagonist and I really like the animation. I even got season 1 on DVD. Also, it isn't moral-based as many children's shows are.

I used to love "Angry Angry Beavers" but I haven't seen it in so many years I barley remember it. Same goes for "Pepper Ann". I still sing the theme song all the time, though.

I enjoyed Teen Titans when it was on. Neat animation, fun story arcs and characters.

I used to watch Hey Arnold! before school, and sometimes after school. I REALLY liked the vibe of that show. It was like, inner city, but still close-knit... a sense of community in an urban jungle. Whatever, it was neat.

I am on board with Renegade and pwnr far-q. The graphics style is what I *crave*.... but I wish I had started learning on rmxp. I make my own graphics so programming versatility is key.

But I've been using rm2k/3 for so many years and can do such awesome custom stuff, I'm reluctant to give it all up to learn again. I'm an old man stuck in his ways.....

I think it's diet even more than exercise. We don't know where 95% of our food comes from.... it's often processed beyond recognition and contains hideous amounts of sugar and salt.
If the average person ate healthily but didn't exercise, I think they would actually be in better shape than someone who eats poorly but exercises a bit.
Obviously both are required to be healthy.

I used to make excuses for fat people like "They could be on medication that makes me fat" or "Maybe they just have a really slow metabolism". That's sometimes the case, for sure. But I worked at a grocery store and noticed a direct correlation between being obese and buying ridiculous amounts of unhealthy food. :gofigure:

It's crazy to me, losing weight is such an issue for some people..
I've always had the world's fastest metabolism, so gaining weight or at least not losing weight is a big struggle. I have to eat and work out constantly or I waste away. I'm always inspired when I see a big fatty in the gym. It's such an uphill battle, I admire the effort.

I was in a movie store and my friend and I were trying to decide whether to watch "Quarantine" or "Paranormal Activity". I opted for Paranormal Activity and really enjoyed it!

Horror movies are my favourite genre.. which is weird, because I'm VERY rarely satisfied by what I watch. It tends to be the same old shit over and over and over and over. Cheap scares, moments that take you out of realism, Japanese kids with hair over their faces etc. but I felt like Paranormal Activity was done a little differently. It's all done through a camera (not in a Blair Witch style I don't think -- though I haven't seen that movie, so how would I know?) so you definitely feel like you're "in" the situation rather than having a vantage point from heaven. (?) Also, I thought the character dialogue was VERY natural-seeming and I really believed the characters. And I am HELLA critical of that, so that's saying something. The movie does this thing with the credits at the end which was really trippy and imo kind of the scariest part of the movie.

Then a couple weeks later I saw Quarantine on TV and it was boring recycled sh*t imo. Hopefully the original was better.

EDIT: I enjoy that I registered for these boards 7 years before the above poster, yet he/she only has 70 less posts than me, lawl. I'm shy o^;^o jk I have a big mouth.

Many of us seem to be on the same page.

When I think "favourite video games" the first ones that come to mind are Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Suikoden 2, and Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. These are the four pillars of gaminghood, to me. There is a controversial fifth pillar I bring out, but only in wartime.

(I like RPGs)

I wasn't saying tight pants are effeminate. Just saying they're uncomfortable and...

they dont hurt.
You can't just matter-of-factly say that. When I wear them, they hurt. :fogetshrug:

I know I'm packing serious meat, but realistically how do guys manage to wear tighty tight tight pants without having their gonads invert? I have a couple pairs of tight pants but it HURTS TOO DAMN MUCH. If I move in my chair I'm like "Goodbye penis head. Believe I just lost a teste too." Now I'm down to four.

I wasn't intending to get the shot but they were doing them on-site, for free, at an office I was working at so it was like "meh, may as well."

They ended up giving me the swine flu shot in one arm (THROBBING later on) and season flu in the other (not throbbing as much)

I got.... SOOO sick that evening. Just a general feeling of intense discomfort, malaise, shaking in bed. I was like "Great, because I needed swine flu AND the regular flu." Called in sick the next day, as did many others.

But now I will be one of the handful of survivors.. this plague will inevitably wipe out civilization, without any doubt in my mind whatsoever. Everything is terror! Nothing is safe! Anyway, we will turn into a kind of "Battlestar Galactica" situation where we have to reconstruct humanity from the wisps of what once was.

EDIT: post 469, how embarrassing. I guess you could say I am "for" "69". But ONLY between a MAN and a WOMAN. Any other combination of genders is an abomination in the eyes of various Lords and perpetrators should be struck down with swine flu. Swiftly.

Well it's more like her head's in a whacky position that's actually physically impossible unless her neck's really looooooooooooooooong.

Looks great, but wtf is up with the running animation? I have never seen anyone run like that, and it doesn't transition well into the other animations at all.  :hmm:
I run like that.

Nope that's still not right. I recommend "She wasn't exactly the strongest member of our team but, bless her, she sure knew how to swing a blade!" In the context of swinging a blade, I think it would be assumed that you're talking about a relative lack of physical strength.
