i think all the monsters in this game are just there for shits

the only one i can see that has any kind of relevance is the doll boss because the girl and her dolls and yeah

the zombie nurses are a lot more badass in this game... in previous games they would maybe take a swing at you if they got close, but in homecoming they will back you into a corner and break out some sick knife combos and you won't even be able to move

make sure your computer's language is set to "english (united states)" (if you have anything other than xp i'm not sure where in the control panel that would be)

also, is there something sitting next to your system tray, possibly that says some other kind of language?

I don't remember exactly what I did to cause this, but now I can't hear any music through the RM2K editor unless I have Windows Media Player open. I think I accidentally opened a MIDI file in WMP while one in RM2K was still playing. WMP doesn't need to be in play mode, it just literally has to be open and MIDI files will play through RM2K. This also seems to be affecting RM2K3, but not RMXP. There is no MIDI audio when I play RM2K/3 games from their respective executables, either. The easy reboot fix unfortunately was no help.

Can anyone offer any insight?

I remember playing a really old game based on the old, old #rpgmaker (with Johan and Princess Darshu and everyone), where it exploded and the whole game was finding everyone and then joining together to defeat Peer. It was a really old game and I don't remember the title off the top of my head. Does anyone remember?
