Gotta agree with Ravenholm, though I've played through it so many times at this point the effect is all but lost.

Thief 3: Deadly Shadows, more specifically level 9, Robbing the Cradle. The simple atmosphere of that place made me paranoid all the way through it. Though it might just be because I usually avoid the whole horror thing.

I hear the Clock Tower series can be pretty scary, dunno much about it though.

Neutral Evil Elf Rogue!
Man... I was hoping for a magic-based class, not some daft rogue backstabber. Oh well... at least the alignment fits.

The only thing I can really think that it might have had an influence on is my writing. Specifically, a story called "The Forlorn Explorer", a fanfic based on Maple Story. I always visualize that as an anime whenever I'm working on it, though it might not be obvious to readers. Though the end of each chapter ends as a few animes do, with the main character giving a little monologue and there being a brief exchange between characters. (Can't think of a good example of it though... except maybe Inuyasha.)

I can't think of any other ways it migth have influenced me... but I don't watch that much anime... or TV in general.

Okay, I've never been all here in the head, so that doesn't count. It does seem stupid to "join" last month and leave now, but I wasn't planning ahead... I never do more than a few days. Meh.

I'm leaving for two main reasons: The semester is over (or will be in two days) and I have no internet at home. After almost a year I'm still without it. I'm gonna snap one of these days... I know it. Ah well. I'll be back next year, about the 15th of January is anyone cares. I doubt I've made much of an impression on anyone here after only a month, I couldn't make a noticable impression on my classmates for a whole semester.

Kotor 2.

Rented it, beat it in 4 days. That one was so easy compared to the original it was sad.

What about games like Disgaea? You only get so many by way of storyline, but you can create/capture a bunch of other ones. (If you need a more common example, Final Fantasy Tactics.)

Wow, I saw a lot of ones listed that few people I know have even heard of. Guardian's Crusade, Threads of Fate, Azure Dreams... I might have missed a couple though, so if these were mentioned already or aren't considered sleepers, I apologize.

Battle Hunter (PSX) - An odd little game. It's not much to look at, especially when it comes to the "dungeons", but it might be worth a look if you like TBTs. I think it's one of those love it or hate it games. At least of the few I talked to that actually played it, I'm the only person that can find a middle ground to the game.

Top Shop (PSX) - From the same bunch that did Battle Hunter. It's more a board-game type of game... but I just wanted to add it in the one-in-a-million chance someone here might have heard of it. Nobody else I talked to has.

Evolution (Dreamcast) - NOT the Gamecube version. I have that... it may have voice acting unlike the DC version, and combine both 1 and 2, but what they cut out in exchange is overwhelming. It's basically a dungeon-crawler, so if you know what that is, you have an idea of what to expect in terms of gameplay. Still, I thought the story was pretty good from what I saw of it... a bit predictable in some spots though.

Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure (PSX) - Is this a sleeper or a singer? Either way... if you've ever heard of Disgaea, Phantom Brave or Nippon Ichi, you'll have an idea about what this game is like. It has plenty of problems... the dungeons are about as good as the ones in Battle Hunter, and the battles are... well... pathetic. Still, it's pretty original in the fact that characters just start singing throughout the game... hence the title.

I could have sworn I had more to list... darn memory. Oh well.

I have some sort of problem with ALL my consoles. Each one has issues in their own, special way. The only two I've ever had outright die were my NES and PS2.

My NES, being the shoddy piece of workmanship it was, broke after being stepped on. No, it wasn't me that did it. My daft cousin was in my room unsupervised, somehow knocked the system off the table, along with some papers, and stepped on it. Accidently according to him. I don't know if it was or not, but I know I'm not letting anyone under fourteen in my room if I'm not there ever again if I can help it.

My PS2 just sort of died slowly. First it started not reading PSX discs, the stopped reading them altogher. I cleaned it out, but that didn't work. I set it in my closet for a couple months, tried again out of boredom, and it worked. For about three months. Then it died again. It didn't even try to read the discs after that... it wouldn't even power up. Now it sits in my closet, dead.

Ahoy, GW! Or should that be ahoy again? Apparently I regestered waaaay back in '04, but I can't for the life of me remember why I wouldn't have come back afterwards. I probably forgot the site address... and name... my memory is like that. Nonexistant. Now then, on with the introduction, even though I loathe attempting to write them.

I'm Nemorian, as you might have guessed by my username, but just calling me Nemo is fine. I'm 21, live in the dead center of nowhere, am bit daft and have a bad memory. I'm a bit of a writing nut, usually coming up with more stories than I can work on at once. Most of what I write is fanfiction, which is really just practice until I think I can handle a novel. I'm still a ways off that yet. I also favor RPing, which suffers the same problem as my writing... too many at once.

I don't watch a lot of television, really. Apart from Bones, Stargate, Doctor Who, Torchwood and a handful of animes, it's pretty desolate on that front. I prefer novels, graphic or otherwise. Non-fiction doesn't do anything for me though... history puts me right off. Give me something like Storm Front or Saiyuki any day.

I'm a bit of a gameaholic... especially when it comes to TBTs or RPGs. Disgaea and Morrowind will probably remain high on my list of favorite games for a while yet. FPS are okay, but not my favorite sort. Unless you're talking about Half-Life 2... I love that game. Stealth ones are fun too, a nice break from killing everything in sight.

I listen to music constantly, even though I don't carry a CD or MP3 player. I can hear the songs in my head clearly enough. My like vary when it comes to music... as long as it isn't headache-inducing or annoying I'll listen to it. Some of my favorites are Rush, Cheap Trick, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Dashboard Confessional, All-American Rejects, Daughtry, Tom Petty, Boston and Foreigner. It's not my top ten, but that seemed like the right amount to put.

I can't think of anything else to say at this point without it turning into pointless banter, if it hadn't already. If you wanted to know anything else, or I forgot something important, just let me know. I'll be off for now... and I'll be sure to return in less than a few years. A few days at most... promise.
