How far are you on ROF i'm on the 8th Chapter and all lol it's hard to just upgrade 1 gun type so i used a handgun with Zephyr and got 3 lv on that lol. and vash is duel wielding but sadly i keep adding crap to my machine  Gun so Zephyr keeps on trailing behind on getting duels :( but i could easily jump that gap if I didn't have standers to keep mostly to the same gun type that they where given.
i'm on chapter 5. the game is pretty hard so far, i've been losing too much money from dying in battles

i did come across some advice though. apparently, it's a really good idea to level up every weapon on every character. like for example if you have a character who is great with machine guns but his handgun & grenade levels are shit, then you should fix that. because for each level up, you'll get +hp and +attack so battles will be a lot easier in the long run

personally my balancing is pretty screwed up right now. my leanne is like level 20, my zephyr is 14, and my vash is 10 :(

haha i picked up the game yesterday, actually. bought it over ff13 on a whim. it's really fun so far

the battle system is great and full of strategic depth. there's a lot of positioning, spacing and timing involved. everything about it just seems complex and interesting. i don't think i've ever played anything like it. like, i'm on chapter 3 atm and i'm still getting occasional game overs for not understanding all of the little intricacies in battle

the story is a nice change of pace from other rpgs too, even though you could make the (valid) argument that nothing is really going on. up until now all i've been doing are random missions given by townsfolk, but i'm completely fine with that. i don't know why. maybe the pace of the game can be described as "slow but relaxing?"

also it's really cool when the 3 characters interact with each other through brief cutscenes and dialogue. heck, even when there isn't any dialogue it's still cool. like every time you take an elevator, the game will have this short 3-5 second intermission of the characters just sitting/standing around as they wait on the elevator, and i can't really explain why but it's probably one of the most chill things i've ever seen in an rpg.

I personally didn't really like the tempo and style of WC3 that much. Starcraft feels so much more fast-paced and more direct.
this is what i like about starcraft! you don't have to waste your time worrying about too much bullshit. it's good to hear that the core gameplay remains unchanged.

amazing character imho. perfect score from me

my only complaint about the game at this point is the amount of new specials/supers/ultras that seem to involve SPINNING

but anyway i can't wait for ssf4 to come out already. i already have it preordered

some nice character walkthroughs of ibuki, makoto, and dudley were recently added on gametrailers. done by justin wong (the best sf4 player in the US pretty much)

all three of these character seem kind of scary

definitely looking forward to that game. it's just too bad that mugen doesn't have online play. i mean, 80% of the fun in playing a fighting game is playing it with someone else!

oh man

it's gonna suck learning all the matchups again, not just the old ones but the new ones too. and with ssf4 being selected as the default for evo this year (which i'll be going to!), many of the current players will probably get caught off guard and lose to things they're not really familiar with

like, there's so much content in this game. it's pretty amazing when i think about it
