my mom left my birth dad when i was like 1 years old, and we always just kept the name (since they were married) .. we finally changed to her maiden name about 2 years ago so yeah, that's the gist of it.

I woke up today and saw like 5 new posts on the GW front page.

Great job Drule, 5 posts a day is a ton for a smaller site like this, but if you keep it consistent with 1-2 posts a day, that's awesome. I hope others step up to write for the site as well.

lol web 2.0 that's old news. it's all about web 3.0 now and real-time everything!!!

(real post: The "Web 2.0" name kind of died out awhile ago. Any information related content is going into being a "real-time" experience now as Twitter pushed that to a good portion of the mainstream.)

We're not witnessing the end of GW ... We're witnessing the rebirth of GW. GW needs to start over in order to get stronger

There was a time when 40 different subforums made sense. Not anymore

There was a time when our staff could write compelling articles to compete with other sites. Not anymore

Reinvention is the only way we can fix this. And fix it, we will.

So here's what the new GW is going to be....

-- And that ends my horrible spoof on the GM Reinvention commercial as I have no clue what the new GW IS going to be.

Regardless, Drule seems to have a passion and drive to get things going and he seems to know what did not work in the past few years and he's doing his best to get GW going again.

So give your kudos to him, he deserves it.
