Man. Your computer is just an AIDs computer methinks.

I WOULD say it was the video card hardware acting up again, but you say it works as good as your laptop in a VM.
So I honestly have no fucking idea. That is really, really weird.

BUT let's look at the variables..
Your laptop is running Windows Vista, which is much different than Windows XP.
For one it has DirectX10 which might not have anything to do with it I'm not sure.

I would say start with trying the app on another XP system.

Yeah I would like a full screen switch button if you did that. The fixed width would probably annoy me a bit. But other than that, it's cool.
