Thanks guys. The Waldo component is pretty fun to make, you should try it too!

@Nessiah:
Hm, personally I actually like the untextured version better, mainly since it meshes better with the background, character etc., all of which have smooth shading surfaces. Still a great design none the less though.

@Twin:
Oh, now that Rockman mentions it, that's very true. Although to me it seems like it could be a triangle shape with the sharp end to the bottom, since there's a middle line there in the front-center. But yeah, it should be easier justified by just protruding the front for the streamlined design. Looks great none the less though. :)

A little "Where's Waldo" -esque thing for fun:

@Twin:
Especially loving the splash of water at the front; it really adds some serious dynamic to it. c: Great stuff as always.

@Nessiah:
That's a pretty cool layout, with a consistent style too. I'm curious as to what each panel represents, though?

@Dragol:
Love the goat and the sprites, good stuff. c: One little thing being that the pink haired girl's sprite seems to be just a little too saturated in contrast to the maps (especially the first one); desaturating her a bit should get them to mesh better.

@Liberty:
Pretty nice and clean, the deep water adds a great touch. On the second screenshot to the right, the little cliff/platforms seems a little awkward; I think it's due to that all the other cliffs' bottoms touch a ground tile before reaching the water, but some of that (near the top part) doesn't. Might just be me though.

@LWG:
My favourite thing's the grass there, looks very lively and vibrant. The character seems not as prominent when placed on it though, but it probably a big deal when you get to move around in it. Great stuff. c: And yep @Neoph's point.

@Dookie:
Love that style. One little thing being that the volcano having a big shadow while the smaller mountains next to it don't.

@Calunio:
At first I thought the reference was also a screenshot. :p Would've made a great cut-scene map. Looks like it's on good track to match, just need some fences and other details - perhaps a bit of an elevation toward the exterior of the platform too. Good luck finishing it on time.

@Jude:
Heheh, the high contrast style reminds me of the intense old-school green on black coding screens.
My favourite's the second one; the black floor looks like void in the black background and it's a really nice effect. The face pic looks like it could be moved up just slightly, but that's nitpicking to personal preferences.

@Kelikan:
Nice and clean, but feels a bit empty. I think some kind of tall-grass tiles for some of the current empty-grass areas may help. Either filling in some passable tiles or moving the houses just a bit closer, that is.

@Sanosuke:
I really like that colour scheme! It's very refreshing; for some reason I haven't seen many cyan hues around. That string of light in the second one is gorgeous, by the way.

A couple of videos badly recorded videos; first is the first couple of minutes into a game after some music intro video, and the second is the ending music video (many thanks to Laura Shigihara for helping me sing it!).

And a screenshot for the sake of including an actual screenshot:

Yep, Hypercam2's a good one. c:

As for Quintessence, while the cinematic is up to par, the game-play aspect is in need of much tuning. It's something I've been trying to catch up on recently but kind of struggling, heheh.

And as for the intro showing that it'll be like FF8 romance stuff - I can't really say since I haven't played FF games, sorry about that. I'm kind of surprised that such a short footage with no dialogues and merely showing generic sceneries would cause such a specific smell, though; something must've given off the stench. If it's not too much trouble, I might try to fix it or take it into consideration. Thanks!

@Lennon:
Clean and classy, I like the style.

@Corfaisus:
Nice, my favourite's the third one. c: Some of them e.g. the graveyard seems to be kind of bland/empty, it might be better to shrink the space down a bit. Probably not as much of a problem in-game though.

@Olions:
Looks like an interesting concept, I'm curious as to how it works!

A couple of videos; first is title screen + intro music video, second is a battle. My comp is too weak to handle playing and recording at the same time though, so the videos are kinda laggy. :x The battle one's audio and video are a bit displaced.
