I traded my DS for a PSP and am I ever glad I did! I bought the silver one. It was 200$ but I got it for 100$ thanks to the place I got it: I traded my DS and games for store credit and got it for cheaper. It even came with a game, a movie and a memory card (a cheap one though). I got Crisis Core right away and honestly it's a good game. As for recommendations... well I don't know and I don't really care right now 'cause I'm too busy playing FF:CC.

I hated the volcano most just for the damage floors (lava). I'd always run out of Potions or MP and had to teleport out and use a tent. I think I did that 3 or 4 times. As for the rest of the dungeons mentioned above, I didn't really care for the mazes since I ran from the battles most of the time and got the hell out as soon as I got what I came for.

As a few people pointed out already...

7th Saga: You're playing alone most of the time. I remember the first fight against this Pison (I think) guy and lost after taking 2 hits. And I grinded. Got even tougher later on. I think I stopped playing after 6, 7 hours.

Secret of the Stars: There's about 16 characters to play with and still 11 of them are useless until very late in the game. You can switch parties anytime, but you never really need to. It's bad enough you get low exp. and grind for hours, the bosses still kick your ass with spells hurting the entire party. Mage users attack for 10, 15 damage tops in the end and their spells don't help them (100 to 200 damage tops). When you're about to finish the game, you need to grind another group for 10, 15 hours to get through a boss or two because you can't use your main party. This game is frustrating and not rewarding, unless you got 40 hours of your life to lose where you'll spend 30 of them grinding.

Final Fantasy I on the NES: I'm surprised no one mentioned this when they were talking about the FF series. I thought it was really hard. If all your characters attacked the same enemy and it died before the enemy party was killed and all of your characters used their turn, the system would not redirect the attack on another enemy. Instead, you'd waste a turn and got the grand prize of taking a beating from the other enemies. You could never know which equipment was suited for which character when you were buying, much less with spells (but I'm not 100 % sure about the last one though). System was slow, leveling up took forever too.

Phantasy Star I and II: Enemies hit way too hard even if you were overleveled... Pretty much the same as the others above.

Hey, welcome to GW. Nice to meet you.

I've been wandering on your website and I listened to some of your pieces (remakes and originals). I liked them all. I gotta hand it to you, you're gifted. I didn't stop myself to read ALL of your background (silly me, I was there for the music only). I gotta ask: all your creations, did you use some program with instruments or did you actually played an/some/all the instruments, recorded the music and used a program to put it altogether?

Well, I'll check your website every now and then for new compositions. Keep up the good work!

Welcome to GW.

Inspired by nostalgia and pure stubbornness, I started a project with another vet/friend of the RM2K era and we plan to show what we're made of in the days to come.

Well, good luck/patience with that. (No really, I mean it.)
I hope I get to see your progress and I hope it works out for you guys.

Aside from video games I like classic rock, reading, female anatomy, summoning demons, lifting, drinking and all the typical stuff a male in their 20's might like.

I like you already.

Hello and welcome to Gaming World. Nice to meet you.

Drawing and other arts allow me to express my thoughts, imagination and feelings in a more ... (what's that word...) way.
Did you mean to say a more ''concrete'' way?

I, for one, like to listen to music and play music to express myself. (Not that you'd care but still)

Nice to meet you and welcome to Gaming World. Why don't you tell us more about yourself? (That was the LONGEST post I ever read here, kidding)

Listening to Bliss by Muse
Album: Hullabaloo
Image: Looking
Genre: A mixture of punk rock and electronic. Here's the link for ''Bliss''.

Most of their songs are really deep. The lyrics are touching, the music is astonishing (depends on the song) and the singer's voice is beautiful. This is a band I recommend for people who are romantics, dramatics or artists.

Secret of the Stars on Super Nintendo. Bad graphics, bad music, enemies were WAY too hard (spent countless hours levelling up), bad translation (fighting enemies called BadBad, Badman and Badbunny... WTH!?), BAD storyline... actually, the only good thing that came out from this game is that you know who's the baddie right at the beginning... some guy called Homncruse... Again, BAD translation.

Speaking of which the reason I classify myself as a redcoat because it is a small organization that promotes my next game. Right now it is made of about 3 people, and we are trying to get the word out. I'd also get in trouble a lot because I speak my mind (I think I said something in my cryptic monologue).
Organization? Trouble? Cryptic!? Makes me wonder if this is some kind of... Just kidding.

The company is called "Magnum Wear" and I guess the symbol is pretty cool looking too.
I wouldn't pay to see it but I'd like it anyway.

I hope this is enough information about me.
Yup.

In any case, you seem like a good guy. Welcome to GW and good luck with your project(s).

Well... I just joined Gaming World a couple minutes ago. I used to have RPG Maker 2000 a couple years back. I started about 10 projects... I never finished any 'cause I was too lazy. Well anyway. Enough with the boring memories.

My real name is Guillaume. I'm a French Canadian so my English may (might? I'm always confused) not be accurate but whatever. I'm 20. I listen to music a lot: Three Days Grace, Rise Against, Madina Lake, One Republic, Muse... and the list goes on. I'm a down-to-earth guy (lack of originality might explain why I never finished any of my games  :hmm:) and I usually say what I think. I've got green eyes, brown hair... wait this isn't a dating service!! No need to share THAT kind of information... kidding. I don't have a lot to say. I guess I'll be hanging around Game & Ideas. I'm thinking of starting a new project but we'll see how that goes.

I'm glad to be part of the community and see you all soon.
