I work with a guy who has a new theory literally every month (if not more frequently).  He's got a bunker stocked with food, water, gas masks and etc.  His new theory is that in two and a half weeks, the world will end.  It'll start with widespread disease (he didn't say what).

As for me, I think it'll happen eventually.  I'm not sure how, though.  There are so many doors, I don't know which to pick.  If nothing self-initiated kills us off, an asteroid will eventually.

They got rid of the blue sparks, which are the foundation on which Mario Kart is based.  I'm still going to get it, though.

The first three quarters of Torchwood season one was crap.  I think that the more recent ones are pretty decent (certainly better than earlier), but it's still not "adult Doctor Who" (which is a stupid thing to call it in the first place).

Manos: The Hands Of Fate is an absolute classic
Completely.  I'd also recommend Cave Dwellers.

I'm similar in opinions and things like that, but there are two key differences.  In real life I argue a lot more, and if I see the opportunity to make a joke about sex, I'll be all over it.  Just like I was all over your mom.

it's been stated about 6,000 times that she has to win over 60% of the delegates in every state yet to come to even TIE obama in pledged delegates.
That and she's a giant bitch.

I was really surprised last night's polls turned out the way they did.  I was pretty sure Obama would get Texas, and Hillary would get Vermont.  I live in Vermont, and everyone I've to whom I've talked has said they're voting/voted for Hillary.  I guess that's just my town, though.

Daft Punk is great in Audiosurf.  Robot Rock is the most memorable, but anything of theirs integrates near-perfectly with the game.

I'd love to play some TF2 but I leave for work on Sunday at 3PM EST until about 8:15.  Do you guys usually play during the week as well?  Because I'd love to play with some people who aren't complete fools.

Paul Thomas Anderson is fantastic, if a bit crazy.  While I thought the film was good, there were better ones released last year.  Daniel Day-Lewis gave the performance of his life, though.  I'm glad he won the Oscar.  The score was fitting to the film, but that's the most I can say about it.  It really drew attention to itself.

BEST. EPISODE. EVER.
Definitely.  All the Desmond episodes have been great, but this one was the best out of all of them (and one of the best, if not the best, in the series).  It felt like an episode from season one, but I'm not sure why.  In more recent episodes, they've been half-answering all the questions posed in previous episodes without actually revealing anything about the universe in which they live (unlike this one).

I just saw it today and wrote a review for my high school's newspaper.  I don't really understand the poor reviews this film is getting--I quite enjoyed it.  The story could crumble at the turn of a dime, but it doesn't hinge on the story.  They do try to make a social commentary on and fail, but the film definitely entertains.  If you're looking for fantastic narrative and compelling questions on international relations you should keep looking, but if you're looking for a high quality action flick, go see Vantage Point.

Cancelled. Microsoft tried to strike a deal with Nintendo to let them have it on the Virtual Console as well, but Nintendo are wankers.
The last I heard, it was still a rumor.  First, Goldeneye for the XBLA was simultaneously announced and canceled (that was about a month and a half ago).  Then this comes out.  Is it officially canceled?

And Goldeneye for the Wii would suck.  Goldeneye has horrible frame rate problems, and the Wii is weak enough as it is.  Plus, they'd never allow a shooter up on the VC--it's Nintendo!

Welcome back to gw!

What was your old user name?
I was Fred Jones Part 2 (the Ben Folds song, not joning).

I can do a damn fine English accent--I can do almost any Northern-hemisphere accent and a number of souther ones.

I used to post here long ago, but I quit because I just got bored.  I've decided to start anew with a fresh account, seeing as I've matured greatly since I left.  My name is Jeff, I live in Vermont and I'm seventeen.  I'm a senior in high school, I'm attending Penn State this fall (majoring in journalism), I host a half-the-time great and half-the-time half-assed podcast that can be found in my signature and I'm a stickler for grammar.  I hope to cover the gaming industry once I've gotten through college.  I've got a Wii, a 360, a $1700 gaming PC and no car.  If you want to play something on Live, my gamertag is RagingMoses.  I read more American comics than Japanese ones, but I'm not completely closed to anime.  If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

I also enjoy Doctor Who.  What's not to love?
