I don't know if something is up, but I tried the 1.1 version (it said final), and I went through the first button mashing game and seems like no matter what, I insta-lose. No matter how hard I smash, same outcome. Its seemingly impossible, for some reason. Nor is there really any instruction on when to begin.. Shame for right now, I wanted to see the rest of the game. :/

YES! Man, I remember this from awhile back and I was definitely looking forward to it. I thought it got scrapped, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see it still alive and well. You seem to be doing an excellent job at creating an old-school FF and paying tribute to those games. As a big fan of FF, I'll keep my eye on this one.  Keep us updated, I can't wait to play this gem. ^^

I'm tearing through Castlevania: LoS and its pretty amazing. *_* Pretty solid start for a reboot.

Also, kind of a dumb question.. But by giving the single tree's a light source, do you mean give them shadows or something like that?

I pretty much agree with most of everything jamie said about FFXIII. I kinda like the story, and the characters are interesting at times. I do enjoy the battle system, but it gets extremely repetitive if played for long periods of time.

It was one of the bigger disapointments for any game for me. I waited (along with all other FF fans) sooo long for it to come out, and it was one of the titles i was looking forward to the most this year (or last couple years, actually.) and its just such a letdown. Its so bare, there isnt anything to the game except for the battle system. :/ You just go from one set of fights to another set of fights, even the ONE sidequest thing you can do completely revolves around fighting.

Though since I was one of the poor saps who actually bought it, I plan to finish it since I started it. I'm at the very last dungeon, anyways. So close.

I actually enjoyed FFXII a lot on a sidenote. I don't think its a bad game by any means. Nothing beats FFX, FFVI and FFVII though IMO.

Right now i'm playing FFXIII and God of War 3.

This game looks great, I've wanted to play it since I first read about it. Its supposed to be out, but my town is incredibly lame and none of the department or game stores here have received any copies and probably won't until friday, Which isn't too much of a delay but still. Either way, definitely going to pick this up.
