I'm getting the impression from many Americans that you either have to be communist or not have health care. This means pretty much the entire continent I live on is communist, which I find a shocking fact.

I don't even really like the squad deathmatch really, in BC2. The game just works better as an objective based game.
exactly what i mean. i think it was purely in there for people who were coming to this expecting a more MW2 orientated game

Realized I still have a 50 dollar check from my grand parents so I used it to pick up Bad Company 2. Played a little of both Campaign and multiplayer.

BTW: its good thus far but I have a few nitpicks about the controls:

Why can't I Sprint at any other angle other than straight forward? I miss being able to sprint off diagonally in MW2.
Also can't have more than 2 key's to a single action. Its driving me nuts.

Non control issue: Also Wish there was a tad more control over class customization.

Also, is there a straight Team Deathmatch? or are there only objective modes?

Even though MW2 doesn't have lean, I actually think this game needs it more. I've never felt the need to lean in MW2 for some reason, but when I'm playing BC2 I feel as though I would have benefited from it. oh well.
although i dont think leaning would work in a non-cover based game, as being able to freely lean would either mean your advantage to leaning would be incredible (being able to have a good view without exposing much of yourself) or the opposite and it's hard tricky to see anything (making the whole thing pointless)

otherwise it sounds like you bought the wrong game if you expected any of that straight-up 2 teams of 16v16 deathmatch

yeah, roughly 90% of things that made bioshock awesome was in system shock. it also steals a bit from fallout

They're pretty good games.  And for $2 if you don't like it it's not like you're out much.  By the way, do the games downloaded from Steam contain DRM?  I own copies of both Freedom Force games, but don't want to install them thanks to the damned Starforce DRM included on the discs.  Fucking thing killed my last computer.
the only DRM on it should be steam itself, i'd imagine

just been checking out the bad company 2 beta... it's good, providing you avoid sniper hotspots. blowing holes in shit is naturally awesome though.
