Actually slime is THE weapon to use if its any variation of black slime. Although I think that the boss-sized ones are weakest against the shock blast; I just unload at close range until I'm about to overheat, dodge to the side and vent.

yeah i wish i lived in this magical land where i could leave my doors and windows unlocked and expect people to return you lost wallet without a few bucks missing (iceland is actually this magical land icelandic people don't have a single evil bone in their body).

Why must Canada be so whymsical? Before I had a roommate I'd never lock my doors, and on several occasions I've LEFT WORK and chased people down to give them their wallet back.

"You forgot this ma'am, heh." *walks into sunset*

Ash didn't want to hug me, which made me sad. However, I got to hug a random person at Ash's work. It was fun.
I was self conscious from being at work all day! I didn't want everybody to be talking about me at lazer tag.

HEY WHY DID ASH SMELL LIKE ROAST BEEF AND URINAL CAKES??
YEAH THAT WAS WEIRD!

Jesus Christ I didn't realize so many people came this time. They came to visit me at work and they just kept POURING in through the front door.

Also Bartek shook my hand so I'd say it was a pretty good day for me!

I recall reading an article recently showing how the IT industry is suffering because students are coming out of college expecting something like DOUBLE what companies are willing to pay entry-level programmers. It's true that when I was in programming the instructors would go on about how people would just THROW money at you and there were jobs everywhere.

Mateui is spot on. You'll wind up with a terribly boring job in the gaming industry, or none at all; you need to network to get anywhere. My philosophy is to get a job you're good at; If you go for something you enjoy, either school or the actual job will suck the fun out of it, barring a few exceptions.

Any sort of education towards the gaming industry will involve either programming or digital art (preferably both; developers are moving away from rigid roles within game development). Any sort of actual entry-level design position would be unlikely; actually getting hired for that usually requires past experience (developers also request your experience be on SUCCESSFUL games as well) so you have to work your way up in-house from a programming position and then build a portfolio as a designer.

Also, ignore every advertisement you see for "Game Design" courses.

It's more likely that a slew of attempts have already been discovered and stopped, but they're being kept quiet so as not to disrupt the inauguration ceremonies.

I'm sure Obama doesn't want to be remembered for MOST ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who met with Ban later Thursday, said the military fired artillery shells at the U.N. compound after Hamas militants opened fire from the location. Three people were wounded.

"It is absolutely true that we were attacked from that place, but the consequences are very sad and we apologize for it," he said. "I don't think it should have happened and I'm very sorry."
That apology is more what you'd say when you get into a fight in grade school, not BURN HUMANITARIAN AID FOR REFUGEES.

Also, possible they used WP shells again. Fuck off.

Wait, I don't remember the part of the American Revolution where we used tactics specifically designed to cause terror?
Did they not teach you the part where loayalists would get dragged out of home, have the shit beat out of them and forced to leave town, abandoning their property to the revolution? I'll admit it's a huge stretch, but you could argue that british loyalists were the victim of terrorism.

The aim of the Qassam rocket design appears to be ease and speed of manufacture, using common tools and components. To this end, the rockets are propelled by a solid mixture of sugar and a widely available fertilizer, potassium nitrate. The warhead is filled with smuggled or scavenged TNT and another common fertilizer, urea nitrate.

The rocket consists of a steel cylinder, containing a rectangular block of the propellant. A steel plate which forms and supports the nozzles is spot-welded to the base of the cylinder. The warhead consists of a simple metal shell surrounding the explosives, and is triggered by a fuse constructed using a simple firearm cartridge, a spring and a nail.

Holy fuck. I understand that any weapon that can take a life is wrong, but they are firing fucking SUGAR-POWERED TUBES. I always assumed they were using some sort of outdated soviet missile or something that belonged in a bond film.

Early Monday, an Israeli jet bombed the Islamic University of Gaza, a journalist who witnessed the attack told CNN. There were no immediate reports of casualties from that strike.
Jesus Christ. I'm behind on my knowledge of the area, but jesus. They bombed a university in retaliation of this shit.

"No, no guys. It's not a civilian target; it's a terrorist training facility."

Just hit 80 and wrapped up the undercity/wrathgate content. All amazing stuff. Also had a chance to do the Culling of Stratholme; a lot of the new instances are very interesting, but at the same time it's a little frustrating that most encounters require the entire party to be on their toes.

Is Sniper Rifle any good? I usually go for assault shotty or the semi-automatic.
The rifle is actually pretty good if the rest of the team is a good shot. Normally the Zoey bot always takes it, but I tried it yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. It's semi-automatic, and has some pretty nice damage; the only time I wished i didn't have it is when I went up agaisnt a tank.

Tried this with a friend last night, cleared no mercy and almost beat death toll; we starting getting worn down against the very last horde and a tank cleared us out. I haven't gotten use to the pace of the game yet though; if I play it too safe, the director will start dumping shit on me for being slow, but if I'm too run'n'gun I'll run out of supplies for big hordes.

I can't decide what's more amusing; the fact that people view endgame raiding as some sort of competitve sport, or that they bothered to get some random domain for their shitty advertisement website.

So, how 'bout that expansion?

I ran Utgarde Keep last night. It was a little disappointing actually; the actual instance was a cakewalk, but then the last boss was noticeably harder. I've stayed in Howling Fjord so far, and it's pretty great though.

There's actually a Hospital here in town that is specifically for minor issues. URGENT CARE CENTER or something like that. Basically anything that isn't MAJOR like a gunshot wound can be treated there, but it's only open 8am-10pm or something like that.

The best part though is the people with stupid problems usually go to the actual hospital so the urgent care center moves rather quickly.

So, does the witch reset after it kills somebody? Or does it keep coming and seriously mess up the round. I didn't cross one when I played the demo, just hunter/stalker/boomer.
