I won't get to install Windows 7 until later today, I just read about Microsoft saying that they were approaching compatibility differently.  And like I said before, it's just a DIFFERENT approach, so I'm just hoping it's a good one, I have no idea!

My understanding is that they didn't name the Kernel NT 7.0, instead naming it 6.1

Really they only way they could make computability better than Vista is to base Windows 7 on XP, but then again I know nothing about programming or how everything works under the hood, I'm sure if they really wanted to they could do it, all I know right now is that they haven't.

Going by the article in the first post here, they only patented a system for 3D avatars to interact in a virtual space, it doesn't say anything about the client/server system.
Guess I was wrong then, but I haven't really looked into it much, therefore all my knowledge about it is second hand.
Sorry about that.

I got to 4chan, only on /g/, /v/, and /jp/ though, and the only one I visit on there regularly is /g/.
All the other boards are inactive, not for me, or full of 12 year olds (/b/ /r9k/)
Then again 4chan is full of idiots on every board.

Just an FYI for the guys talking about compatibility, I can't see how it could get better than Vista, seeing as it's kernel is an updated Vista Kernel (NT 6.1)

If you really need the computability stick to XP, Windows 7 won't be any better than Vista for that.

Last I remembed about this is that they patented the Client Server system that MMORPGs use.
It's bullshit, fucking patent squatters.

R4 Ultras have been reported to have problems, as they are obviously fake (As in not from the company that made the original R4), but I know people who have one and haven't had any problems.

Either way the only homebrew that I felt was worth my time was Colors.
It's like a water painting application of sorts. You can even press harder or lighter to make the colors darker or lighter.

To put into perspective how much I don't care for over the top violence and gore, I shot a park worker in the leg on GTA IV, and then I went in to go kill him, but when I got there I saw his expression and that he was in pain. I felt HORRIBLE.

I see.
I don't play very many PS1 games. The only one had trouble with was MGS. It works on 5.00 M33 with some graphical glitches I Guess, but all the other PS1 games I play work fine.
But we all use our PSPs for different things, so I say just stick with 3.71 M33 then.
Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.

It had the slow downs with FuSa as well?
Either way, sorry to hear, that sucks.
Well I guess you might as well go  back to 3.71, at least we tried.

PSP Slims were hacked the first week they came out I believe.
But the tricky thing now is that there are unhackable slims which don't work with Pandora.
The only surefire way you'll get a hackable slim is by buying it secondhand, preferably prehacked.

What's wrong with 5.00 M33-4?
Either way, sorry it didn't work out.
If I recall correctly though, there is an older version of FuSa that works on firmwares below 3.80.
Don't quote me on that though..

Looks like you have an SDTV. 480i and 4:3 to boot.
Your only option is to use FuSa, unless you feel like getting a new TV.
Sorry that I can't help more with FuSa, I don't have it or a video cable for my PSP.

Obvious question, Is it an HDTV and is it progressive?
From your post you make it sound like it's progressive, but I also believe it needs to be HDTV.

If your PSP is hacked you might want to look into a plugin called FuSa, which allows PSP slims to play on any cable on any TV, even PSP games in interlaced mode.

Liked Persona 3, but my Sister spoiled it for me.
I already got spoiled as to who the killer is in Persona 4, but that's really only half the story I guess.
Either way I'm liking it.

I'll either be working, sitting on my ass playing video games and watching anime, or sleeping.
If 2012 is the end of the world then  I'll at least be glad I had a full year of drinking alcohol before my death.
To be honest, I'm still scared of death. VERY scared.

I have a 750GB drive which is ONLY used for Piracy. Not organized at all.
As for my Windows drive, I have a bunch of images and music I've saved from other sites, totally unorganized as well.
In fact, the images aren't even named. It's hell to deal with this. But I have at least a thousand of images (literally), so it's not very easy to organize them.

I guess I have basic organization for image and music, since I put them in My Pictures and My Music, but it ends there.

Hello Gaming World. I wanted to know what you guys think about Windows 7, for those of us who have used it.
Currently it's in Beta 1, and I find it to be VERY stable and fast.
Apparently from some other people I've heard it runs better than XP on some systems (especially netbooks)

Anyone else use it? What are your thoughts.

Might just be me, but I like them both.
But if you really only want to keep one, I'd say what do you like more?
Getting some good games and a few gems each yet, which may or may not be rehashes of other games, keep the DS.
If you are into emulation on the go and are too cheap to own a better MP3 player, keep the PSP.
