Yeah, guys, stop getting excited over characters in a fighting game unless they have detailed backstories and believable characterization. He's just a fire breathing pterodactyloid-dragony-alien-thingy and the second most frequently seen character from a wildly popular franchise. What's so cool about THAT? 
well uh there is a difference between "oh neato" when a character (isn't mother brain or a metroid more seen than Ridley) is in a game and saying I WOULD SHIT MYSELF and GO NUTS, especially when the character is not that interesting.

idk I just do not get so excited over characters that are not very interesting. I'd be more interested in PIKMIN ASTRONAUT because at least then you'd know his style of fighting would be neat.

oh waijust sayin calm down. he's probably in the game though because it had BOSS BATTLE but it's not that unexpected or new or interesting to go into conniptions. unless Ridley is really this cult character you all love in which case you're pretty gay.
