Wow, this is actually pretty great timing for me. I was just about to pick up a 360 when I got my paycheck next week, but now I can wait and see how this pans out. I just hope that if this is the case, the system comes out SOON. I want to play Mass Effect yesterday.

I've been playing a few games that kind-of-but-not-really qualify as RPGs lately, like Paper Mario, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones all in the past month.

The last REAL RPG I've played is Earthbound over the summer, and it's also the last RPG I've beaten.

That shitty DS RPG?  The controls were crap, the stat levelling was counterintuitive, and the non-ending was a failed attempt at a plot twist that left a dull throbbing in the back of my head for several weeks.

On the other side of the spectrum, I really, really liked that game. Especially the class system, and twist at the end.

It also confirms a couple things, the most important one being that Snake's box is indeed his taunt, instead of his Down-B like some people were speculating. That said, though, we've been getting a very long string of mediocre-to-decent updates lately. I really hope we get something super awesome soon.

Oh, and supposedly Brawl will be the first Wii game to take up both sides of the disc. If I remember correctly, that means it'll be close to 8.5 gig, which is insane considering  Melee was around 1.5. Brawl is going to be huge.

Actually the rumor is that it's the first Wii game to have a DUAL LAYER DVD, which is a different thing completely. It still only has one shiny side, but that side has two layers so the game can hold more content.

And where IS that fish from?!

It is from Balloon Fight for the NES!

If it is Lyn that you're talking about, otomon, she's definitely from FE7, which known as just plain "Fire Emblem" in the States, as it was the first localized Fire Emblem title.

He was initially my most wanted character for Brawl. The size argument was bullshit to me. Metroid NEEDED more representation. And he's a total badass.

But then Charizard got playable status, and honestly, I can't see anything Ridley can do that Charizard can't. Unplayable bosses got announced since then too, and even I'll admit that Ridley fits that role much better than he would playable. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he DID get in the roster, but I'm not getting me hopes up or even think he's a neccessary addition anymore.
