im sorry but netherlands is pretty much the only scandinavian country outside of scandinavia

anyway being a foreign student and studying in a foreign country rocks. i was lucky enough to be allowed 6 weeks in st petersburg, russia, studying russian language as part of my computer science degree(!). it was f*in great, but i think the major reasons for that was how different russia is from norway in many ways, plus the fact that i was placed in a small appartment with an old russian lady that spoke only russian except for about 30 words in german.

have fun vesper :)

du møter sikkert mange hyggelig nederlandske pojker ;)
lol

hoppas det för att jag har hört att flickorna är ganska fula.

so many people go places they know absolutely nothing about and I don't get it. idk if this applies to you, and I don't know how much essiann knew about India before she moved there, but she's someone who will get something out of the experience no matter what and it was all pertinent to her major anyway

like what will you get out of doing business school in the netherlands that you couldn't get elsewhere? it sounds like you're studying abroad just for the heck of it, and as a poor student with $0 that pisses me off!! I study foreign countries and cultures in my free time but I'm not going to be able to travel anywhere for years

regardless, if you have a free opportunity to study abroad and got nothing at stake you should definitely go.

well i live in communist sweden so the state takes care of me, they grant me a higher student loan during an exchange term. also i most probably will learn the same stuff as i could anywhere but if you want the great jobs here in sweden you almost have to study abroad. just studying at university-level isn't enough to stand out in sweden.

So this fall im apparently going to be an exchange student in Utrecht, the netherlands (it was a 'all my friends are applying so i might as well do it too' kind of thing) unless I fuck something up which might still happen.

I'm getting really excited about it though, probably a great experience and it will look great at my resumé. Will distinguish me from all the bazillion other business economic-people.

also dutch people what kind of town is utrecht? I read some stories from previous exchange students and they liked it, good university, good parties, but crappy rooms.

So yeah what are your opinions about studying abroad?

i think that was the plan.

they intend to fuck up campers as much as possible but one thing im wondering if it's intended or if it's a bug is when you die because a charger blows you away from somewhere high. I was walking on top of the houses in the second to last tivoli map and a charger grabbed my friend and threw me to the ground and it insta-killed me. Even if i landed somewhere inside the map.

Humans could blow up the Earth (like literally blow up the entire thing) and it would take us about two hours to manage it. It's going to nature like a billion years. Therefore, humans rule, nature drools.

how? i thought our nukes would just wipe out pretty much all signs of life but im pretty sure there would still be a pretty big chunk of rock left.

it's not like barcelona defend well either and they won champions  league. you just got to control the midfield and make more goals than your opponents.

they got world class players on most positions though and a great bench so they should do good.

i hope they do good for xabi alonso. you will never walk alone.

Sweden's under 21's were class in the Euros. You've got some great prospects for the future. Marcus Berg is absolute quality, as is Rasmus Elm. Shame the same can't be said about Freddie Stoor.

we had home court. all under 21's are good in their own country. impressive would have if we won but we didn't. i dont know how we will handle this generation switch might be tough might be fine. Rasmus Elm is good though, hope he does good in holland and the same with Berg in germany.

Stoor was good until he went to Fulham were he got no playtime at all.

I love watching soccer, but I only follow the World Cup faithfully. It's almost that time again!

it is faster more responsive and things like that. the engine is made for dota and not rts gamez (like wc3 is).
