Blue's journey looks fun, I say we commemorate the new forum with online co-op Blue's journey.  Since not everyone could play, maybe just two people could play and one of them live streams it or something.

nevermind the fact that I took things way to seriously up to the 7th grade which lead me to be prey to a lot of "bullying."

I would say the absolute worst school memory I've had was getting my ankle broken in a fight over a library book in the 5th grade which I had started.  Because I started the fight and it was on school grounds, both me and the kid I was fighting got sent to a juvenile detainment center for a week.  This was a week before spring break too.

i want to do good this christmas, I have a lot of family and friends who have supported me this past month in getting a new job so I kind of want to give back.  I'm thinking fine liquor for a friend of mine that appreciates that. 


I want to get something for my 6 year-old nephew video game related.  I don't think he has ever had a fair shot with video games since most of his stuff now is just a hand-me-down from myself.  I want him to have something that is his own.  To me though, it's hard to give that experience now, since I dunno, console games just aren't as cool as they used to be.  Maybe I should just get him a hockey stick.


I also may get a roku for the folks, I think they may enjoy that.

i don't really follow this show (or any show for that matter) but the few episodes of terriers I have seen I really enjoyed. 

not a lot of good reasons why, just that I enjoy britt as a character, and I can kind of relate to the nice guy always getting played for a chump but also kind of stupid in a way.   

I played soldat and ffxi and fighting games.

No drama, just love, love between guys and their fighting games.

outside of guy and gen there were really no chain combos in sfa3, and those two hardly count because that was their only way of attaining damage.  I dunno what irritating bouncyness means, and the two-dp-combo thing comes from street fighter 4's engine, if that situation ever happened in sfa3 then it was something the defending player could have avoided by air teching (unless it was really situational).

yeah, this looks like street fighter alpha 3 and therefore will suck because i hate street fighter alpha 3. on the other hand, i look forward to the tekken one because tekken is awful anyway and being able to do a dragon punch would make it mildly more bearable. either that or it will make it mildly more like mortal kombat. ONLY THE FUTURE WILL KNOW.

I only ask because this looks nothing like street fighter alpha 3.  alpha 1 maybe because of the chain combos in which case I could agree because that game was kind of bad.

while on the subject of sfa3, if this had custom combos then 

i'm not sure how to feel about this.  3d and 2d fighting games play radically different.  i've had ideas for a fighting game that blends the two concepts together (different versions of fireballs that track in different directions, some that hit the ground, moves with big hitboxes that can cross-up a guy during oki).

but I wonder if these two companies can come up with a product where the two styles don't just tear each other down.  Both namco and capcom have been gradually doing better with the shit so I have faith that something good will come of this!

this game is fantastic.  York feels more like a buddy than a character.

I get angry all the time when I play games online but that's pretty much it.  I used to be pretty bad when I went to arcades because I got so comfortable around friends that I had no problem swearing at them when I got mad about losing or dropping combos.  although I didn't care too much about swearing whether I was mad or not that's just the way with fighting game crowds you catch this energy and hype and everyone's crazy really.

There was one time that anger actually helped me out.  There was a 40+ man sf4 tournament in Dallas and that was the first kinda big tournament I managed to place top 8 at.  I normally lose to nerves but my first match was against this rose player, and even though he was garbage and playing rose I was just making hella mistakes because I felt "no I better not lose to rose c'mon" and then I knocked him down, went for a cross-up, he got up and did a wake-up ultra and it was hella early.  Rose was facing away from the direction I was going and I treated it like a whiff, tried to land the cross-up to maximize punishment.... then somehow teleported in front of him to get hit with the ultra...  A nearby crowd screamed "SHAMWOW" and all I could think is "hell no, that's the last break this guy is getting, he plays rose he is dying right now"  he got a game on me but I beat him for the whole set and got top 8 hooray.

Dudley's english voice acting is not awesome.  Also I didn't see any "GUTTER TRASH."
