Sorry about the buggy map guys. I don't know what the problem with it was. Something to do with the variables and teleport events, I've been told. ;.; Glad you managed to fix it RPG. Thanks. ^.^

My turn to quote a whole lotta names.

Ekuell  (The Forest of People Who Can't See in the Dark)
I liked this map. It brought back memories of dodging guards in Terranigma and I'll agree that it reminded me a bit of  Fallenwood(?). I liked that the house roof 'lifted' as it were. The guards were pretty easy to dodge, though. ^.^ Which is fine by me.

halibabica (Comic World)
This map... it started out pretty cool, what with the change of character design, but damn! I gave up and jumped down the hole because I couldn't get it even with the tips from the others. It was a cool idea, though.

neo prime (Scores and Teleports and Gobi)

I liked this map, it was kinda fun, zapping and freezing the Gobli. Pretty good. ^.^

Dudesoft (Moustache's Hidden Zone)
I liked this one a lot. Pretty funny to me. ^.^ Don't touch my samurai!

Ralph (The Murder Inn)
... First time I tried I failed because I accused the thief to see what would happen. I wish it'd been a bit more involved. I was kinda excited about a Whodunit but it was too easy... ;.;

LordBlueRouge (Dodge This)
OMG! So hard. I got to about 35 seconds and couldn't get away. Fun, though. I played it about three times.

fatty (Endless Void II : Samurai Wars)

Ah. Eh. I didn't get it. It wasn't the worst, though.

Skie Fortress (Alex vs. Klaus)
I totally thought he had the right answer then <BZZZT> wrong! Kinda funny and the map was pretty nice. ^.^

Psyburn (Kef Presents: Temple of Tarantino)

... Maybe if the faces had been erased it may have been bearable but as it was I had to cheat my way out, and that was pretty hard to do. ;.;

Strangeluv (Bridging the Gap)
There was a nice atmosphere set up then BAM! Hits us with the Penguin Scat. Pretty funny, though. ^.^

jsnnoa (RPG Maker Castle)
It's the castle from RM2K3 logo, yes? I didn't get it when I first saw it, but considering it was an unintentional 'extra' it's pretty cool. ^.^

Cardinal Ximenez (RPG Maker Hell)
I liked this one quite a bit. It was pretty funny and a cool idea.

Cardinal Ximenez (Most Egregious Abuse of RM2K3)

I started it and managed to collect all the treasures on the first floor and beat the monsters. Then I got to the second floor. Then I killed myself off so I wouldn't have to do any more step-by-step-by-step walking. That's the only thing that really killed it.

Dragol (1920's)
Lovely. A great map. I really enjoyed the 20's feel of it and the silent cinema was awesome. First time I talked to someone I thought it had frozen and was starting to worry. ^.^ Silly me.

Liman (Icy Peak)
Hm. As a mountain hike it was okay, but I would have liked an option to jump down, or something to spice up the way down.

Nerdo (The Old Man With Two Dads)
I didn't get it, but I know it would have been funny to those who knew what it was about.

Liberty (Teaching Tongues)
Yeah...

AznChipmunk (Encounter)
Very pretty mapwise, but I suck at arrow challenges. Liked the edit of Elle a lot, though. ^.^

Ocean's Dream (Paradise)
^.^ No one could mistake this as anything but Ocean's map. Thank God for volley balls. ^.^

PkUltimaga (The Riddle)
It was a lot better than I thought it would be, but the riddle ruined it with immaturity. Good job on exceeding my expectations, though. ^.^

Dyne (Attack of the Clones)
Pretty cool. I managed to do it second time, but the clones were damn annoying. ^.^ Fun though.

Bobberticus (Quebec)
LOL jokes aren't really my cuppa tea. it was funny the first time, but the horse was dead and well-beaten by the end. I think I missed a switch, but I got out via flame walking.

Tau (Death)
Pretty good atmosphere. It reminded me of giving my sister advice. ^.^

Nessiah (The Memory)
I really liked it. Both art and story-wise. Then again, I'm and anime nut. ^.^ I managed to get killed the first time, then I gave her the ol' 'what-fer'. Heh.

hedge[1] (The RPGMaker Battle System Museum)
I thought this was pretty nice. A bit of tongue in cheek humour at the end. Good job. ^.^.

Kazesui, (Nightmare)
That was pretty good, though I never actually got to beat the damn witch. ^.^ I tried a few times and kept getting killed off.

elkalo (Another Forest Map)
I really liked the look and all, but there was something missing to me. Maybe having multiple exits or hidden passages or something else. Still, a rather pretty map.

Verridian (Lost Dreams)
I thought it was pretty cool. Some of it was a bit... eh... but yeah.

Chef Boyardee (Purgatory)
You broked my braaaaaain. ;.;

King of Games (Gentleman's Challenge)
It was cool with the whole Pokemon thing, but there were a few problems. Still, good job.

Clucky (Sky Town)
Loved it. ^.^ I was funny, especially Mssr Blimp chicken. XD The gameplay was pretty cool, too.

Arcan (Alex Racing)
There were a few problems and my guy [pink] came first but didn't 'win' then green came last but won, but it said I cheated and... ;.;

Sanosuke (Dice and Cards)
I managed to get good luck with the cards and the dice. First time I win against the cards, second with the dice, though the screenie was a bit cheap. Still, I liked the overall appeal of your map. The music leant a lot towards that and it brought back memories of CC.

RPG (Intro, Worldmap and Ending)
It was awesome the way you managed to get everything to fit together and each of the parts were pretty damn cool. Great job. ^.^ Love the world map theme.

Have I missed anyone?

Well, it was pretty good, all up and congratulations to us all for a job well done.

btw anybody who thinks subs > dubs... remember how "nostalgic" the start of naruto2  was?

yeah.
I just owned you all.

No. No you didn't. The original OPs are ten times better than the english ones. All of them. Each and every. Single. One.

Some anime are alright dubbed - FMA for example. Didn't notice a detraction in Fruits Basket and most of the others I've bought are okay. The Bleach dubs are okay, but I hate that they change the name from shinigami to soul reaper. Guess that's what I get for reading the manga first.

Others fail mightily. Hello there, One Piece. Yes. 4KIDS ruins good anime. One thing I have learnt.

Naruto. Oh gods! Poor Naruto, or, as the english version says Nuh-rooooot-oh. God. If you're gonna dub a series get the damn names right, people. I purposefully bought the whole series in Japanese just to avoid the horrid english dubs. Hello, Sa-kuuuura.  :tsk:

One series I do not recommend the english version of is "Those who hunt elves". It's a bad anime in and of itself, but when you have a seven-ten year old kid with a deeper voice than his teenage brother... :fogetnah:

And that was my two cents.

They... they butchered the story. Absolutely. Cut in to tiny pieces, pissed all over it, set it on fire and raked the ashes.

I don't think I could take watching this movie after reading those character bios. I mean, come on, they didn't even get something as small and insignificant as Gohan's ball being the fourth, not the third, right.

Damn them! Damn them to HFIL! *sob*

And yes, I am a fan who is well aware of its faults. <The manga is slightly better, though some parts of the anime (character interactions, mostly) are superior>

But damn! Someone seriously needs to put this out of its misery.

I swore after my Dad's funeral that I'd never have one that was sad and depressing, so you can forget your 'Tears in Heaven' and 'Wind Beneath my Wings'. I figure, why ruin a perfectly good song with sad memories?

FF7 Chocobo Race Music. Light-hearted and quirky. I can imagine their faces now... O.O; >WTF!?!?
'Nuff said.

Retrospection - Suikoden II, if I must have a sad song. -_-

Yeah. I likes my game musac.

If I had to have a 'real' song probably something upbeat and weird.

My family totally knows about this already. XP

I remember listening to music in art class. We'd bring along our own music or play the radio - and let me tell you, some of the music brought along was pretty nasty. And I ain't talking Britney Spears nasty, either. Still, all of my class mates are still alive and kicking.

Perhaps they were doing an experiment in the was sound affects different objects and liquids, and how different sounds do so? That would be (imo) permissible in a science class. Spicing it up for the kids entertainment, though really, that sort of music would most likely not be the best type to play with under-teens in your care. Perhaps if they were older teens, yes. Primary students? No. Stick to classical or whatnot.

It has it's moments, but it's not the best arc I've seen. I did like some of the fights, and Ace. Ace rocks! <3 Much Ace love.

Nami actually got some proper fight time. Yeah, it definitely starts rolling from here on out.

I saw it a couple of years ago now and I thought that it was pretty good at the time. I'm gonna have to buy it, though but it'll have to wait until I get the rest of InuYasha.

Vash was awesome, though. And the preist dude - whose name I've forgotten. -_- Maybe I'll hit the manga up while I don't remember too much about it so that it won't be too affected by the anime. I'm in a bit of a manga phase at the moment.

Breath of Fire II was the first RPG I played and it remains one of my favourites to this day. At at four-way tie with Suikoden II, Terranigma and Lufia II.

I wanna play some more Lufia II and Breath of Fire II but my brother borrowed my SNES, damnit! Guess I'll just have to drop a couple of hints and add a few bribes to get it back. (My brother has sticky-fingers when it comes to consoles.)

Watching: Naruto Hurricane Chronicles, InuYasha, Those who hunt elves
Reading: Detective Conan/Case Closed, Naruto Shippuden, Death Note

Might read FMA as I've seen the anime and I've heard tell that it's quite different.

Star Ocean if you can find the english and graphics patches. Great game. Has a few bugs in some versions and it's hard to find a complete english patch that is proper. Still a great game, though.

Dragon Quest/Warrior IV, V, VI. Love this series. They're like Final Fantasy with better storylines... in some ways.

Breath of Fire. First one is pretty good but the second is the best imo. It was also the first RPG I ever played so I may be biased. It has cat/frog/tree/monkey people (and more)! What's not to love?

Terranigma. Great game. Lots of fun to play... not the typical RPG romp. One character party but allt he characters are really well developed. Best played with a controller, though.

Lufia was a little lacklustre but Lufia II is ace and has a 100 floor random dugeon that you'll lose hours in. One of my all time faves. Also has killer puzzles, great characters, 2 New Game pluses and PETS!

Earthbound. Only just got it myself after hearing angryblackman and others rant about it. It's been pretty good so far. A bit wacky though.

Magic Knight Rayearth. One of the first 'girly' RPGs, I think. Pretty good. A typical 'save the princess' storyline that turns out non-typical.

Secret of the Stars. Pretty old but still fun to play. Surprisingly addictive once you get in to it. General save the world plot, but enjoyable none the less.

Secret of Evermore. Great game! Lots of fun trying to find those alchemy ingredients and spells. Time/Parallel universe travel with your dog.

Secret of Mana. Another great game! Lots of fun saving the world. And flying luck dragons to boot. ^.^ The battles are fun and the general feel of the game... great!

Illusion of Gaia/Time. A pretty good game. Some interesting bosses. Reminded me of good ol' Link and Zelda a tad.

Chrono Trigger. Best game eva! Or something like that. If you haven't played you need pity. Frogs and time travel. ^.^

Dual Orb. Hard to find an english patch for it but well worth the looking for. Another save the world plot but still nice. Eye candy, too.

7th Saga. It's okay. The encounter system is one of my favourites. Not exactly pretty to look at though, but good gameplay.

Zelda, anyone? A classic. Link battles it out to defeat teh ebil!

All worth getting. Yep.

I grew up on DBZ and Bananaman, so any graphics that are better are a definite bonus - hence I don't see what the major beef is wiht Naruto's graphics. There are perhaps one or two episodes that really made me wince, but the rest are great. I just wish they'd catch up with the manga already.

Wishful thinking, I know. In some ways I want it to get to the end, in others I don't.

As to the newset episode, I liked it. It could have done without the flashbacks - but I always say that. I like the filler-ish character-building parts. It can't all be action and there are other sides to the story. As long as they don't do the old filleroonie that they pulled during the last season?/series? then I'm happy.

Little kids will refer to cool things as "gay".

Heh. Why not? It used to mean happy, once. Time to redefine some words, y'all.  :fogetcool:

So ripping the screen shots. It looks a lot like the rm2k3 rtp with a few enhancements. I like the faces though. They're sweet. Now I need a few more faces to be shown...

Doesn't bother me. Everyone analyses what they read/see/hear/taste/touch whether they think they do or not. How else would you come up with the opinions you spout?

Quite well, thank you very much, dangerousned. Besides, I only consider the first three books as children's novels. The rest, to me, are fantasy, and that can mean many, many different things. ~.^

He's gay. Big whoop. I actually figured that before the 'unveiling'. I won't say that it's obvious, but it's there if you look. And you're right, it is a kids book, so it doesn't really focus on the relationship side of things other than making out, even with the hetro relationships.

It's not like she deliberately led us to believe that he was straight. Come on - he's one of a few of the elder wizards/witches that don't have a spouse. There was always going to be a chance that someone was gay (I'd pegged Charlie Weasley and Dumbledore myself. 1 out of 2 ain't bad.)

Besides, he isn't going to be mooning over every male in the immediate area, because being gay is about loving someone of the same gender. Love strikes where it will, people. And the one he loved is dead. That's not to say that he doesn't feel love for others, but no others are mentioned.

I always figured that Dumbledore and Harry's relationship was that of Mentor/Student + Grandfather/Grandson. Innocent.
