I dunno, do you get angry when movies are labelled "chick flicks" :)

Pulp Fiction was still three or four subplots intersecting, though.

Anyway, I don't know if Love Actually counts?

I'm also tempted to mention the Guy Ritchie films "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels".

Memento is just non-linear, not really a hyperlink film. One of my favourite movies.

They're termed "hyperlink" movies.

Yeah, I liked 11:14 a lot despite it having some major flaws. Magnolia too. I guess if you're looking for intersecting character storylines, check out:

The Alejandro Gonzalez Inaritu trilogy: 21 Grams, Babel, Amores Perros

Others:

The Safety of Objects
Pulp Fiction
Short Cuts

And: didn't see it yet, but there's a new foreign film called "Gomorra" that follows the style.

To a lesser extent: Traffic and Syriana

Yeah it was terrible. It was like a "stinging" kind of heat while it's just uh.. "caressing" here, I don't know how else to describe it.

Anyway man, would it help just soaking your face or something every once in a while? Or when you can't stand it, just take a shower? I never really had to deal with any heat problems since I got air conditioning.

Is it worse than the tropics, man? What's funny is that it's usually hot here but when I went to America last year, the heat was even more unbearable in some places. It was... a different kind of heat. A NASTY heat. Thought it was funny cuz closer to the poles, you're supposed to be colder, right? I dunno about Australia, though. I never thought it would be a really hot kind of country.

Well, exams over. I'll go first then!

WITH LOVE, FROM TRINIDAD

A Kiwi for an appetizer,
Now, an Aussie for the main course,
We all saw you beg for Premium,
Now go beg for the Red Cross.
I'm the lone ronin
About to fuck up a tanker,
Shucks, I got rhymes shocking like Blanka.
I'm the itsy bitsy mite
That's gonna give you an ear canker,
They think you're the Titanic,
But you shoulda dropped the anchor,
Because now they gonna know
Was a lil iceberg that sank ya.

Let's put a 'scope to this whippersnapper,
Is he an underground rapper,
Or just a professional yapper,
Move over, Mr. Hip Hop Supernova,
Your main influences include:
Death Cab for Cutie and Mike Shinoda.

You think Meteora and Reanimation are hip hop monuments,
Man, if you think Pts. of Athrty.MP3's got some opulence,
I hope your rhymes and those don't have some kinda congruence,
And I hope I can expect more than a rap
That's Fort Minor-influenced.
Just my two cents.
 :welp:

Maybe you'll pick up a pen
This ain't no duel of mice and men,
Right here before the judge and the jury,
I lay down the sound and the fury,
Take you and march your whack ass jive
Right through the doors of Slaughterhouse-Five,
Mad, crazy rhymes flying out of the cuckoo's nest,
While yours... ha ha ha, only worthy of Infinite Jest.

Dear Ptizzle,
Is outside Australia super-scary?
Heard you got a job as Kanye's new gay secretary,
Mama must be proud, so must Uncle Jerry,
But now's the time to stop making merry,
Quit staring at beers and write a rap, Mr. Luminary,
Here is a dictionary,
You're permitted to widen your vocabulary,
I'm literary,
Professionally scribbling your obituary,
I'll be up in space like Timothy Leary,
Pissing a Pulitzer on your cemetery.
And while I'm there,
I'll drop you a bomb with this little card,
The last words your mourners see,
"With love, from Trinidad."

I dunno. There was that episode where they were going through a photo album and Bart was like WHERE'S ALL MAGGIE'S PICTURES and he says, "The place where I need them most," and the episode was about how much Homer hated work and in the end you find out they were all stuck up all over his workplace. I thought it was kinda touching!

Maaan, don't you think it's kind of unfair if people voted for me over others because of those top-of-my-head Mog joke stories (I don't even think I wrote the best ones in that thread... Heath did) than actual story fiction or game script work. The joke stories may be funny to some but they're don't really have any literary worth to say that they should even come close to rivaling Izekeal's, Marmot's or Jamicus' work.

Jamicus, do you write often, man? Or is it just spur of the moment? You seem to have a lot of hobbies.
