Just out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing any sort of legal issues from Charles Barkley or the company that made Shut up and Jam? I would assume with money involved you guys have to be more careful about legality issues than with Barkley 1. It would break a lot of hearts if this got shut down, and I just hope you guys have that all figured out.

I never give money to Kickstarter things, even if it looks amazing and I know I want it. I will give money to this. Lots of money.

Are Low-Poly N64/PSX style graphics coming back? I really hope so. I think it might be because of the whole indie games scene embraced 8 and 16 bit graphics for the past 10 or so years, but Low-Poly 3D gives me way more nostalgia than 2D does.

Also, that looks rad Vellfire. I like the green guy on the right. He reminds me of The Phantom Tollbooth or something.

I watched Hellraiser 2 after hearing people say that it was a decent sequel. Those people are wrong. It is a very, very bad movie that is boring and nonsensical when it isn't recycling plot elements from the first one.  How people demanded more sequels after watching this one is beyond me.

The PSX RPG maker was actually my first experience with them when I was like 8. I remember making awful shit and being under the delusion that I could totally sell my games to Enix or something.

Anyway, on topic: Silent Hill

Lars! Holy shit, welcome back man. This one got released already. There's a Beatles tribute one going on that's been kind of buried under other topics in the General boards.

And done. It's a bit shorter than I intended  it to be (I had to gut the dungeon due to rmvx's stupid way of dealing with large panoramas) but it's done and I don't want to work on it any more. It is probably about 15 to 20 minutes long.

I love how they seriously say "Old school RPG" like once every two seconds in their video. I think that project is kind of doomed though. It barely has more money than it did the day it launched.

I wrote 4 songs for my game today and got most of the main town explorable. My brain is fried. Let's hope I can finish this up tomorrow so I can do shit like "homework" on sunday.

To clarify my question, a lot of the things that people do in RPG Maker Games (using rips, other people's scripts, etc.) seem kind of iffy with the "everything in games must be completed between x date and y date" rule.

I'm making a "virtual tabletop rpg" with graph paper and pencil maps and chess piece sprites.

Quick question. Are there any rules about using RPG Maker? I wouldn't be using any RTP stuff, but if I can't use RPG Maker I'm pretty much useless programming wise.

I got Icewind Dale today. Basically it's the Infinity engine game for people that have no attention span and would rather kill a bunch of shit than wait for the story to get interesting (so you know, me.) I know its story has been bashed for being shallow and some people complain about it being so battle oriented, but that's kind of what I want right now. Icewind Dale is like Diablo with a more cerebral battle system and slightly more involved story. I'm digging it quite a bit.

literally all i did in this game was roleplay it.  i did almost none of the quest and did not fight a single dragon.  i basically just played it as a SURVIVAL/ADVENTURE SIMULATOR
You didn't miss much.
