What's up with imageshack? Did it get hacked or something? for some reason some pictures uploaded there now show as this:
I don't really understand what it says anyway... did anyone else notice it? and could someone please explain to me what does it mean?

I think your screens look a bit flat, but that might just be your style, which is allright. But I really think you have to tone down the grass and tree color, it's too... MSpaint green. try to lower the opacity of it, or making it a bit darker, it would be much more pleasing to the eye

I love to see people using custom graphics by the way, it inmediately attracts me to the game.

I do get a little sad by seeing how active it was back in the day, but still, I don't get why so little people post now, I hardly see GW dying or anything, but still makes me sad to only see this topic and the GW is dying one getting posts...

Very nice Sanosuke, I really like hoe everything is turning out.
Rei- that was awesome! I specially like how the cat grabs the building at the end. congratulations!
Mm some new screens of new areas in Lost king (I probably should make a topic about the game, and stop posting screens here =P )

I already know how to use gamemaker, so unless "indie" game maker shows that it can do something that gamemaker can't, or can do it MUCH easier, I'll keep using gamemaker for now...

It's allright, but the engine is pretty confusing to use at first, I would have liked that some easy concepts like showing messages was just as easy as in RPGmaker, too bad it's more complicated to do it now.

Some new screens from a new area in my game. The ice cave.
I have yet to think what else to add to the chipset, everything looks too... blue, but I can't think of anything else to use... I can't have plants because nothing can grow with so much cold and dark, any ideas?
Btw, you slip in the ice, so the big ice area is like a puzzle.

Any ideas on what to add to the chipset ?

EDIT: the slight color difference between some of the ground tiles has been fixed.

I actually think people on GW are some of the nicest people on the internetz, sure some GW jokes can be somewhat weird, but I have never gotten in an argument in here, and all the people I've talked with are really nice and educated.

Okay I get it...
I think rpgmaker has grown old, and you don't see the same amount of people interested in it, and this community was pretty much based around it.
And about the other boards, I think the some of the oldies of the site already left, and maybe some new ones aren't that compromised with the site because it doesn't mean the same it meant for the previous ones...
I have been on GW since rpgmaker.net died many years ago, and I wouldn't call the site dead. You can see new topics everyday, and I keep checking the site many times a day, even though I don't post much in general, I always check the topics and love reading them, this site has been very important to me.
