No, you're wrong.

He (and everyone else who encounters these people) should do what this guy did:

That would be pretty lame actually IMO because the DS version of IV looks worse than VI

Uh yeah a lot of the "hardcore" fans of the original fallout games hated it because of how much it differs from the first 2.

FFX was a major shift in gameplay and style. Suddenly we went from a pre-rendered 3D perspective with text boxes to a full 3D perspective with voice acting. Such a dramatic change will always cause automatic hate from "fans". See 'Celda' the Windwaker and Fallout 3 for other examples.

You don't have to look at the names when you pick paradigms, since you always see the roles on the right (at least I don't).

yeah i just noticed that while playing. im dumb for not seeing that before. for some reason i kept looking at the far left of the screen.

ok cool. Also, I really wish they just used initials for paradigms instead of coming up with stupid names that you have to memorize what they are. Like instead of "Relentless Assault", it should be called 'CRR'

It's not as fancy but it would be a lot more convenient.

Do any of you guys know if the characters get new roles as the game progresses? Like, right now for me Sazh only has one role: ravager. Does he ever get any more?

I wonder what people would think of Final Fantasy XIII if they didn't call it Final Fantasy.

I've recently started watching moves from the 60's. I just got finished watching The Graduate. I enjoyed it, but I don't understand why the AFI has it as the 7th BEST MOVIE EVER. Judging it as a comedy, I chuckled in a few parts but the humor seemed to be dated. Judging it as a drama, I guess I've failed to see what warrants it such a high ranking. I guess I have to think about it in the context of the year it was released in order to understand??

Gmail allows you to do it. Or at least it did a year ago when I did it.

The people who this is targeted to are NON computer geeks who want to carry around the internet with them but don't want to get a laptop because it's too expensive and would prefer this over a netbook because it has a touchscreen and it's apple.

The only real drawback i see in it is that it runs the app-driven iphone OS but to be honest, people seem to LOVE buying apps so...

My point is that apple could have made some amazing highly functional revolutionary device if they wanted to, but they wanted to make something that they could sell cheap that would destroy the netbook and e-reader market and create a new one that they could be a leader in.

Salinger was definitely a mega cool guy, but I can't say that his death is too sad or tragic considering that he was 91. If anyone has never read Catcher in the Rye, I highly suggest you do right now.

The iPad is pretty much absolutely everything I expected it to be, which I guess is disappointing in a way since there isn't any big surprises, but whatever. The only big drawback I can see in it is that there is no multitasking, but no doubt Apple will have that fixed pretty soon.

Apple is clearly trying to bring tablet computing into the mainstream with this device and, if their recent track record with mp3 players and smart phones tells us anything, they will succeed. I think they're looking to have a pretty dominant position in this burgeoning market by having an introductory price that's unusually low for their products.

What I'm most interested in right now is how this thing will affect e-reader and netbook sales.

Super Mario RPG, like all Mario RPGs, was really easy and probably best left for kids. The isometric perspective employed in the game is also pretty bad by today's standards. To be honest though, I dont think there was enough platforming in the game to warrant this as some kind of fatal flaw.

That being said, it was my favorite game when I was 8 years old. Back then it was a challenge, but I can breeze through the game in one weekend now.

If you don't play this game until you are a mid/late teen or adult, you're probably not going to find it that good. I still find it fun mostly for nostalgic value I guess.
