When you want someone to do the effort for you, it's customary to take what you get.
I have the kid crying but not the Primagen as stuff is happening right now.

Cheats help with level select and now that I have my joystick set up, I am having a wonderful time ^.^
However the map overlay does not work in this emu so that's a bit of a setback.

Well if you always have the bgmusic on then a rom won't likely help you. Try searching for its demo on PC.

*edit* I guess some people just don't know where to look... I am currently downloading the rom and I'll see what I can do.

*edit2* There's an option in the Sound settings to turn off the music. Now I just have to fight my way to those little brats! On a bright note, I too have this back home and Super-Lucky! this rom runs very smoothly on my shitty laptop! :fogetbackflip:

I find it amusing that any console game I am perfectly alright with the left hand to move and right to do actions. While on the computer in any non-mouse game, I am perfectly fine running around with my right hand on the arrow keys and my left controls the fire, strafe, or emulator keys.

Now anyone remember the Colecovision? That thing was ambidextrous - Any controller with fire on both sides and a joystick in the middle.

What was the talk about Beta testers? Even if you don't need any, can I have it in whatever state it's in anyways? If you can't find time to finish it, maybe somebody else could try...

There is also the polar opposite of that which is, for example, people making platformers, monopoly clones, and shooters in Rpg Maker. Making a game of any of those alternative genres would be easier if you were doing everything in C without directx or anything else that makes game programming any easier (I believe a lot of people know that from experience). It takes a lot of attention to detail and obsessive-compulsiveness to make anything work at all when you're using RPG Maker for anything other than a regular jrpg.

I just spent 11 hours making a Pac-Man clone and it worked out F*inkg awesome! If you've got the drive to see your idea through and make all the necessary cutbacks for the engine you're using, I say GO FOR IT! Your idea must not will not be denied!
Yes I am F*ing PSYCHED now :fogetbackflip:

I guess the loading screen is for to build a 'feel' and to make it looks like an official games? idk lol
but yeah, it's really pointless.

Haven: Call of the King on Playstation 2 hides its loading screens behing cinematic cutscenes :)

....No???
Current health: 66
Max health: 70
66 * 100 / 70 = 94%
66 / 70 * 100 = 94%
Huh.. I kept getting 0.0055 (55/100) oh well, thanks you two!

No, then I get an even smaller number. Basically I would like a health bar that only measures the percentage of your health and not the actual points.

I have a health bar 2 pixels by 100 pixels. I want it to move left according to the percentage of your health, which is a custom value (although it could be your health is that would be simpler). Currently when you get hit, an amount is subtracted, and then your current HP is divided by your max HP, and then multiplied by 100 to get the percentage. However what seems to be happening is after the division the number would be a decimal and the player is instantly killed.

What is the easiest way to do a single health bar?
