I couldve sworn it was 15$, and there's a huge thread about it at TIGSource debating the price and gameplay and stuff.

Coming up at 11'. Sarah talks about the continuation of her book series. If you loved "Going Rogue" then you'll love part two of the series, "Staying Rogue: A Mainstream Approach to Stealth"  and part three of the series, "Out of the Shadows: The Apocolypse, and Beyond".

sounds pretty cool. I'm interested in how every would actually work in a boardgame though. Like how you would equip people and if you had a card with the units stats on it or something. Also, try and come up with unique skills and spells. Don't draw your inspiration from FFT/A.

Like for example. A Hero class with a Channeling special ability, that lets the hero cast a spell on a target friendly unit. If the attack hits the unit, then the unit can cast the exact same spell on another friendly unit or an enemy unit, damaging the enemy unit. So he essentially channels the spell through  his units and extends the spells range.

the only 3d movie I saw that wasnt with red & blue glasses was an underwater movie at iMax. It made my head hurt from the weird way that they force your eyes to focus. All it seemed like was that the projected the movie with 2 layers slightly off center and the glasses focused them together, like that picture topic we had and the guy shot the same picture from two different eye-level perspectives and put them in a gif.

yeah GTA's radio is pretty good. I want to get mp3s of some of the fusion music, but I don't think they have a folder with the songs as mp3s.

also I've never played music over the games music.

Just dont kill anyone you don't mean to in morrowind. I killed some guy near the plantation just to do it and I spent like 4 hours trying to finish a quest that it turned out he was a part of.

I've had gm since 6.0, but back then I was looking at tutorials to see how to make platformers and stuff, but it was all complicated so I just copied stuff and never learned anything. now I'm finally sitting down and trying to learn it, derek yu's tutorial on tigsource is really helping me understand the basics. maybe I'll get 8.0, but the list of improvements look pretty meh, and the whole logo fiasco made me question the integrity of the new owners.

I haven't bought anything through steam. Do you get a hard copy or is it download only, because I want to buy some stuff for cheap, but I only have access to dial-up.

I think I enjoyed the Shivering Isles better than the main game because of it's environment. Also don't bother with Morrowind if you've play Fallout3/Oblivion. I bought Morrowind when it came out, played it, then played Oblivion and I just can't get back into Morrowind.

edit: and by that I mean, I was too spoiled by fast travel and stuff in oblivion

Videogames now are a consolidated industry that don't care that much about creating a new, original offer. Instead, just creating what looks good or acceptable in order to sell, that's it. Games today are the worst cheesy soap operas humankind has ever created.
thankfully indie games don't follow the same formula and are gradually rising in popularity and becoming more mainstream.

the only thing I used the internet for back in the mid-late 90's was to look up cheatcodes at gamesages (now ign) and at crappy aol keyword websites. I think the only code I tried that didn't work was the green sonic code in sonic 2. i spent hours trying to get that to work.

and the nostalgia of the old days stems from only having like 20-30 games for a console that were all vastly different styles and genres, so you had to spend all your time playing them and looking up codes to see what else you could do after you beat them.

La-Mulana. You're better off watching DeceasedCrab do a Lets Play of it. Or you play it and never finish it/get very far without a guide. And Underside is the only Cavestory clone I know of.
