oh my god, that was the most beautiful thing I have ever read. I don't think anybody will ever have as much of an impact on my life as this man has.

God, this is terrible. I can't even believe this actually happened, it all seems like a bad dream. I'm just speechless.

Rest in peace, Steel. You will be greatly missed. You made such a huge impact on my life, and even if you never knew who I was, I will never forget who you were.

He's teasing us like hell, showing off his RM event-scripting prowess... Brenty not-humble...
Are you schizophrenic, perchance?

S4D, isn't this like the fourth time you're leaving forever and not showing us anything more about your games?

That's all I'm saying.

I remember playing Skies of Arcadia Legends on the Gamecube and really enjoying it. So I suggest that.

I think you should pick a font that's a little harder to read.

If he feels that his ABS isn't be fun, it might be considered poor game design to implement it even as a side thing. I know I'd get pretty annoyed if there was an incredibly frustrating/dull minigame in an rpg that I felt obligated to complete due to the rewards. I'd either leave out the ABS or make the rewards trivial.
I didn't get the idea that he thought his ABS isn't fun from his post, I read that he was reluctant to use at as the primary battle system because of the community's general predisposition against them.

Well, if you spent so much time on it and you're reluctant to have it as your primary battle system, you could always implement it into your game as a form of minigame/sidequest somewhere. Like an arena or coliseum style event where the battles are in ABS format, I think that would be pretty cool, and you could have rewards for completing certain battles and have some form of extraordinary reward for completing the entire thing. That way your work wouldn't go to waste, in that you could still have a more publicly accepted primary battle system, but the ABS is always an option to players who want to try it.

Actually, I was thinking more of a sidescrolling action game (not a platformer) then an RPG, so would Gamemaker be good for that, also where can I get gamemaker online
Yeah, Game Maker would work well. You should probably try googling it before asking though.

But either way, http://www.yoyogames.com/make

Christ, DS. That's pretty much the best RTP usage I've ever seen.
What RTP?

What does it matter who owns the site as long as the community and members will remain intact?

GW's Administrator positions have changed multiple times in the past.
Because you're implementing an RPG system.

That's why it matters.
