Well, to kill the fun and be serious (mainly because I'm sleepy), I'm 24 now (Must have been interviewed before my birthday), and I'm a guy. Strangeluv just wanted to add some fun into the interview, which I don't mind at all.

"I am aproud owner of the confeield seasons, I have piraeted everyone of them since the day they came out. I give it a 5/5 (the same score i gave superman 64)."

Pasty was also the one who wrote the World building topics in GI&D, but they're archived so we can't see them. They were pretty interesting so it's a shame they're gone. I'm pretty much the opposite of Conchfeld as I'm the boring guy in the group, but it still wasn't bad at all working with Pasty on Alcarys, I felt I got a lot of freedom as well as references for direction.

I can't imagine how it'd be like making an RPG in Gamemaker, so I think that's pretty awesome. The interview was pretty fun to read too.

Any time you're outside, you can open the map, click on an area you've been to (regardless of if it's a dungeon or town) and you'll end up there. I love it. Sometimes I'll just walk instead of fast travelling if I feel like it, and it's nice for exploring new areas that you could fast travel to later if you'd like.

Some of the city mods will also let you fast travel to particular streets in the city rather than just the city front gate.

I had a lot more fun with Oblivion than I did with Morrowind. Perhaps it was a mistake to buy Morrowind after I've played Oblivion, I dunno. But I really do miss the things that Oblivion had, like Fast travel, red dot for your objective, the simpler dialogue system (Greying out the dialogue choice that you've seen already), the mods and other things. I didn't mind the environment graphics, but I thought the characters were very ugly and blocky, which I didn't like. Oh yes, the barren lands with the flying bird thingies was really annoying. I also feel like my character in Morrowind, even with high speed, moves too slow. And I'm not walking either.

I tried getting into Morrowind, I did a few quests, got into Fighters Guild, explored around a bit, but I got bored of it so I went back to Oblivion.

But yeah, I do have a problem with Oblivions caves, gates, and ayleid ruins, they all look alike. I preferred to stay around the towns rather than go cave exploring. Plus the random treasure you get tends to be worthless (Hard lock for 10 Gold and a Lettuce). But yeah, The Summitmist manor and other dark brotherhood quests (other than this one that you have to go in the snowy mountains to look for this guy, it took forever to find him) were nice.

Nessiah interview!

I'm looking forward to your projects. Yeah, the backgrounds are great and I'm also wondering where they're from.

its not a money thing I just took a vacation in may I couldn't pull off another one now. I mean I need a reason to go to New York or whatever in the first place and "internet dudes" aint gonna cut it for nobody.
Well, it's NYC, you could always make up an excuse like visiting the museums. Met museum of art is pretty nice, as is the Museum of natural history. If you're into modern art, there's also the museum of modern art, or the Guggenheim, I haven't been to the Guggenheim yet though.

Any possibility of having some default pips, and then being able to choose between like Dopples and Frankies pips once you're a premium?

I otherwise don't really mind, though I do like the lego ones.

This is awesome, I was thinking about this movie a few days ago, but I couldn't remember the name of it. Thanks! I might just go watch it again, I haven't seen it in a while.

Awesome, congrats! I like your pixel work, especially the tilesets. Especially stuff like this:

Ah hey, welcome to GW! I think it'd be best if you post this in the Rare games topic in Game Demos and Advertisement forum. Here's the link:
http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?topic=70696.120

They had a link to that project in the first page, but I just checked it and it's not working, so you may just need to ask for it there.

Ah, sweet. I was wondering when it'd be back up. Maybe I'll check out some articles there while at work.

I don't put too much thought into what others look like, so what I might imagine someone to look like is nearly always different than what they do look like, unless their avatar is them or a drawing of them. So if you have an avatar of an old man and keep that around for a while, I'd imagine that it's an old man posting. I won't believe it really is, but I wouldn't really have any other reference to go by unless i've seen their picture. It works for me with photo avatars (even if it's not them), and not so much drawings or whatever.

What's your age?
23
Do you create things on the computer that you think others would be interested in seeing, playing, reading or listening to? If so, what?
I make music, pixel art, and games. Sometimes I draw, but only anime peoples would be interested in seeing them.
Theoretically, when looking for something in terms of entertainment or art, what would you be most LIKELY to type into a search engine?
I use google to research stuff either for drawing, games, or looking for music, but generally I go to specific sites, and don't have anything that I am most likely to type in google. Maybe there is but I have a terrible memory.
If you were admin for a day and wanted to cater to your own interests, what FEATURES would you add to GW?
To be able to make each forum re-arrangeable by the user, so if they didn't want to go to Resources for example, they could put it on the bottom. I certainly wouldn't know how to code that though.
In the same vein, what would you remove from GW and why?
Can't think of anything here, really.
In terms of creativity, how many teams or groups are you currently in online?
Modest Arcade
What do you like the most in a game?
Short, fun, and that has an ending. I don't like when a game just keeps going on.
Have you ever finished a production, such as a game, movie or an album? Have you ever followed a creative project from from beginning to end? If so, how many and what were they?
Finished 2 games, and tilesets for Excalistia.
....how much do you hate gw

I forget how I first found this place, but I just looked for RM2K/3 tutorials and Game articles on the main site. Those were really helpful to me, I kept following it until the mainsite started dying. After completing Island Sky, I figured I'd join the forum and post it to see if people could give critiques and stuff on it. This is the first forum I joined, in 2005.

Eventually, because of this site I started doing pixel art for my games, and have learned a lot about making games, among other things. I'm really thankful that GW is here because of that. I stay because there's quite a few people here I like to talk to.

I'd have posted here sooner but I was at work and didn't have a chance to. Yeah, I've been around since 05, but mainly in the game making sections. I should probably be less lazy and post more in General instead of just lurking.

As for past login names, I've pretty much always been Ocean's Dream. There was a month or so that I had Ocean instead, but then I changed it back.

I'll send this over to Hardware/Software so you can get some help on getting that fixed. I personally have never seen that error, so I dunno what it could be.

If it doesn't get resolved or something, then feel free to remake the topic in Resources+.

This isn't a Game idea or design question. I'm tossing this over to Software/Hardware.
