Can't do it. Coincidentally, I'm also moving in a week or two and it's more or less hectic all the time (school starting and all that).

Even if I was free to do it, I still wouldn't. I've already wrapped up one Chain Game. I ain't gonna do another.

Finishing up Chain Game 3 taught me a lot. Working on 4, not that much. I mostly recycled some puzzles I had previously used in Enter the Cave or CG3. I tried to focus more on graphics and the overall feeling this time.

Still, both chain games were a positive experience!

I love fucking sweet ass metal bands that play in odd time signatures, but that doesn't make your friend any less of an idiot.

Not finding these news anywhere except here... so I'm considering this fake (and it looks photoshopped).

edit: also lol at people having to apologize for liking a band here nowadays... unless they state something like "this band sucks but i kind of like them" or "i like this band (BUT I KNOW THEY ARE GAY)"

Finished the game on second try with a parasite that started in Brazil. Managed to infect Madagaskar just a few seconds before they closed their shipyards. :)

Sounds and music were discussed, but I think we're going to wait til GW6 for that. Graphics don't take up much space but if quite a few people uploaded music it could really eat up the space fairly quickly, and I'm not sure we have the resources for that atm(?). You'd have to ask leafo or gz for a real explanation, I'm just going off of what I know (admittedly, only what I see.)

You could limit music to midi files only for now. But yeah, I see your point.

When you talk about the high price tag, are you talking about the full-contains-all-the-instruments price?

Yeah, I don't own the original Rock Band or it's instruments.

Heh, what a coincidence! I'm going to take my girl to see this movie today. I'll let you guys know how it went and what I thought afterwards.

nah all items (ALL OF EM) have a unique fingerprint, so that's not true.

I'm  pretty sure at least potions and runes don't have fingerprints. Oh well!

If duping isn't rampart in WoW, it probably won't be in D3 either. That's a good thing. So, what do you guys think, will D3 online be free?

Duping where a good thing though for some items. Without dupes how would we have had our ridiculous currency system of sojs and 290 small charms? Although crazy dupes like those "ith" items (rune worded items with all of the sockets magically empty) where crushed... they let us keep the 290s and sojs... which was pretty cool of them. I don't know if they changed it... but I couldn't imagine how trading would have been without them.

I think they just couldn't delete them because rings and charms (and amulets) don't have the item fingerprint that all "big items" do have. That's why they couldn't "delete all 10 000 sojs with fingerprint 6xAor82" or something. But yeah, I'd imagine Blizzard has come a long way since D2 and LoD in terms of network security. How's the situation in WoW, any maphacks or dupes around there?

it really isn't so trivial man, Diablo is a game known for three things really: the metagame, the innovations, and the atmosphere.

I've never been so much into the atmosphere (I think that was more of a D1 thing). It always was about "heh 1000 demons taste my swords/spells/arrows whatever" and the metagame. I really hope they find a way to stop duping in bnet this time, it really ruined it for me. It's such a shame that D2 had awesome items like enigmas, but when 99 % of all enigmas in bnet are duped, how can anyone actually think it is an achievement to get one? Even if I somehow managed to make a legit enigma (I think the highest rune I ever found was a gul) no one would believe it's real. Without dupes the value for one enigma would be hundreds of HRs... and you'd have to find someone willing to sell theirs.
