Honestly despite how cool everything sounds, you shouldn't get your hopes up too much. They hyped the ever living fuck out of Oblivion and left a lot of promises unfufilled, IIRC. Also, people praising the new engine don't realise that the engine is not the problem. The problem is Bethesda's awful QA team, who now have to test an ENTIRE ENGINE. It'll be buggy as fuck.

Well to be fair, Rock Band seems to basically have Guitar Hero beat out in most aspects, and there's not a whole lot of difference between the two.

But yeah Call of Duty blows. Well, Activision blows, more like. Give it a few years and they'll be slapping on cash shops and maybe even a monthly fee.

The main thing I've noticed people complaining about is the fact that instead of just giving you rather loose objectives and letting you solve how to do them yourself, the game insructs you in the various options you can take. That takes out a lot of the fun for me.

Also the setting just blows, I liked the jungle.

I beat Ghost Trick last night, it was pretty great. Seems like if they ever do a sequel they'll have to use entirely different characters, but that's not much of a problem really.

This weather is really disgusting and horrible. Went to a music festival to see Tool the other day, almost melted. It's been around 40 degrees for the last few days (about 104 Farenheit I think?)

Apparently they want each character to have a distinct playstyle of their own, and to actually be useful. Basically they don't want agigantic roster which boils down to about 12 usable characters, like MvC2 had. That's probably the driving reason behind a lot of people's favourites not getting in.

They say you need a connection to the US servers of at least 150ms to even be able to play. Sounds like terrible netcode to me. I bet driving is still serverside.

Isn't the minimum wage in America really awful? IIRC it's like half of what we have in Australia.

Anyway yeah it's definetly a good thing to have, there are a lot of cheapskate employers out there.

When I saw this on the board index it said "how do i be a vegeta..."
I was pretty dissapointed

But yeah I'd have no idea where to start with being a vegetarian. Everything I know how to cook (which is not a lot at all) is pretty meat oriented. I know you said you don't want any meat substitues or whatever, but according to my mother who is an ex-vegitarian, nutmeat is great, she usually prefers it over real meat, even though she's not a vegetarian, so maybe look into that?
