Yeah, I mean I wasn't expecting anything deep or terrifying, but I'm a sucker for a haunted house movie.

Ah, I humbly extend my sincerest thanks to you for taking the time to offer such kind words and guidance. I shall be sure to tow the proverbial line and shall be swift to cry out in adulation and gratitude should I be deservedly kicked into touch. Perhaps some sort of probationary period would be deemed appropriate at this juncture, although in saying this I would not presume to tell or even suggest how you should do things...I will be quiet now.

Vell: Thanks for providing the exposition that Arcade seemed intent on not providing me with! Looks very interesting, but without someone saying it is worth playing I was hesitant to give up my precious, precious points. I will invest now maybes.

I'm dipping in and out of Aban Hawkins and the Thousand Spikes, but gone are the days of square controllers that survived a good wall-toss, so only when I'm relaxed. Itching to start Lost Odyssey but have to get a few things out the way before I devote myself to it. Otherwise, I'm grudgingly blasting through Suikoden IV so I can finally play Tactics (Rhapsodia).

Banjo-Kazooie worth playing for the 360? Played the demo and was a bit confused; loved the N64 version.

Dammit, me again. I'm starting to think there's some Freudian envy going on...

Nu-uh, no mistake. I don't shy away form the fact that I am a bit of a geek but yeah, still cooler. A character from a sitcom (i.e. a figure we are meant to laugh at) made before you were born and set in a period before your dad was born is your role model for coolness?

Both my exes were vegetarians so I had to do a fair bit of compromising, even though both of them were of the "well it's my choice, I don't expect you to adjust for me" guilt-trip. Quorn is OK enough, if you can stop yourself shouting "where's the beef?" every time you take a bite of it.

Pasta is always a safe option I think, but obviously not in the case of vegans. Although, I used to live on pasta and cheese and when I stopped eating it I dropped over a stone. I keep seeing Polenta in the supermarket and thinking it sounds like an amazingly versatile substance, but stop reaching for it when I think of how many ways you could cook a lump of shit without making it stop tasting of...well, shit.

I know it seems lame but the BBC Ready Steady Cook website has a bank of searchable recipes on it that always look good (and all in 30 minutes!), so I'd give that a bash.

You know he's the man. You can really hear the emotional turmoil of hating that hedgehog in his singing.

'Notre Dame de Paris' by Victor Hugo. It's pretty good, but I think Kevin Kline might have been quite an interpretive leap...

Nice work so far everyone!

I went down the electro-acoustic road for this one, but took kind of a left turn when I stumbled on some Koran chanting. Great fun.

I like it too. A charmingly innocent representation of the horrors of depression.

Hello! Sorry for the lateness of this one, I've not had a lot of time this week to work on it. As a result, I'm probably going to come back to this one at a later stage when I can get the theme tune to 'The Riddlers' out of my head when I'm trying to write it. Mixing needs a bit of work too but hope you like!

I fully expect fistcuffs at dawn.

Well, I would win, obviously, as I'm also the strongest. (And tallest.)

i might have to get you to make some music for a game i'm working on

Thanks, I'd be very up for that! Glad you liked my work! One of the reasons for me joining up here was to hopefully start some projects. Oh, and the Midlands IS the best. Warmer, too.

Solely for the reason you don't CAPITALIZE RANDOM WORDS for GREAT EMPHASIS!!!

You know that's actually how he speaks, right?

gonna have to ask ya: Wolves, Brum, Villa or Brom

Sorry, I don't enjoy football. Or Birmingham.

Yes, hopefully I'll be making some more contributions to the weekly artistry thread - brilliant idea by the way - although this week's has me a bit stumped. I'm hovering between 'do you hear the people sing' and 'they have the plant, but we have the power'.

Hey everyone. Like most people I'm not great at introductions, but hello!

I live in the UK watching cartoons ('Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' is the best cartoon ever made whatever anyone says), going to college, reading books, playing games, writing music and dreaming of not having to work in the retail industry any more. I have a degree in English and Music and have gone back to college to study music technology, so as to get the gears grinding for my aim of writing music in the gaming industry, or media industry at least. I'd love to be able to draw too, but I guess the age of the Renaissance Prince is over. Oh, and I'm Faust's other (much better, cooler) half.

Game-wise I was raised on 2D platformers and grew into RPGs, although I'm pretty open minded and just like a good experience. I'm pretty bored by (and bad at) FPSs though.

Anyway, hello!

Hey everyone! I have decided to mark my entry to the community by submitting to this week's artistry thread on its final day!

The piece I have put together on the theme of age can be found at the link below. Have a listen, see what you think!
