A good rule of thumb is to not be a dick to members by throwing insults their way when they make a joke. Even a joke you think is dumb.

I was playing some Ni No Kuni last night.  It's sheer visual splendour is almost enough to keep me ploughing through it, but the very repetitive fetch-quests are not fun because the quality of the writing doesn't justify the time spent doing them.  The combat is unusual, it plays a little like Resonance of Fate IIRC, and it's actually quite challenging, which I like, trying to beat it without grinding when it obviously wants me to grind.  I think I'll carry on playing it because of this, trying to stay lower level...

haha, what do you mean? i haven't uploaded the different vocal track yet. i will in a minute, though, i think. i'll post with it, and if anyone wants to tell me if they think it is improved that'd be good!

she said the opposite - that the vocals are out of rhythm in the first half. anyway, i went over them today and re-recorded most parts, so all that should be fixed. i did EQ on the vocals, too, which is a new step for me. it did improve the clarity. i toned down the reverb during the verses but i like reverb, so i didn't get rid of it entirely.
 
still working on a few little things with it. i'll probably keep going over it while i am also working on other songs!
 
thanks for the advice - it's all very useful cos i am trying to get better at the producing side of things now, it is important.

it's a nice compliment to hear, thanks. i think i am trying, and yeah in some way this is important to me which is why i insist on singing even though i am not great at it and if i just did instrumentals the songs would be 'better'.

Nothing, if you buy it you're expected to download it when you buy it! I think my general approach is to give the developer full control over everything. If it becomes a problem then I might reconsider my approach. This isn't like steam, it's not for managing an online library of games.
