Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

"Captain Hammer, corporate tool."

I couldn't have put it better than this guy:

What I really wish is that Joss Whedon would make another show. And that Nathan Fillion would be in it. And I wish it would be about something cool. Like superheroes. No! Supervillains! Like, a comedy. A musical comedy maybe. With Neil Patrick Harris. And since I don’t have cable TV, it would be cool if they made the show and then just put it up online. Wouldn’t that be awesome?

Yes. It would be fully and unwaveringly awesome.

Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is about the strangest idea for a show I’ve seen in a long time. It’s different and interesting and clever and therefore something that would be rejected by any self-respecting television network.
Oh, look at that, I plugged someone's blog. Huh.

Basically, the gist of it is that Joss Whedon, the guy who brought you Firefly, which apparently some people like, has put up a show on the 'net, for free. That is, until July 20th, when it'll be gone again, according to the master plan. Well, I say gone, but I mean you'll have to pay for it. So enjoy your free supervillain musical while it lasts. Acts I and II are up already, but you'll have to wait 'till July 19th for what seems to be the final part, Act III. Don't wait too long, though, or you'll miss it and you'll be forced to buy, like, the DVD. Ew.

So, once again:

Watch it. Now. It'll only take you, like, half an hour, which arguably you could be spending on doing chores or curing cancer or playing World of Warcraft or picking your nose or whatever. But do watch it, really soon.

Sam: "What assurance do you give, Taraka, that this bargain will be kept?"
Taraka: "My word? I shall be happy to swear by anything you care to name--"
Sam: "A facility with oaths is not the most reassuring quality in a bargainer..."
