Post how many kilowatt hours you use per month. I heard it's common for people living alone in US to use like 1200 kWh while actively trying to be "green" and eco friendly. I think that might not be the case in europe because electricity is a bit more expensive. How high is your electrical bill? I'm not asking how much you pay but how many joules you use. I use about 72 when living with my sister.

Since urine is rich in nitrogen and cat litter is something like clay I was thinking I could dry it in the sun and reuse it a few times to produce urea-rich cat litter and maybe use it as a fertilizer or something. Also does anyone know if UV light destroys ammonia vapors, because my sister keeps the entire fucking house closed because she doesn't want the cat to go outside, so the litter box ends up making the whole place reek of ammonia.
